Test Server - Experimental Build (UPDATED 25.11.2019)

Hunters,

The Test servers are going offline at 1 PM CET!

We would like to thank every tester for their feedback and reports!
The testing rewards will be handed out on the Live servers later this week during a server maintenance.

Hunters,

With today’s test update build you will have a chance to try out our two upcoming weapons, Martini-Henry IC1 and Springfield 1866 rifles, multiple fixes as well as some experimental features which will not be part of our next Live update.

In case you experience pink/missing shaders, crashes or other reoccurring issues, please report it and let us know on Steam, Discord or on our Social Media channels.

Players participating in our test will receive 5 Blood Bonds for every game played, up to a total of 100 Blood Bonds(20 games played).

Update 1.1.2



We only have Bounty Hunt random mission in Europe in order to maximize the number of players per session on the Test Server.

General changes


  • Implemented a different pipeline to deliver the mission rewards to make mission rewards more reliable when returning to the menu.
  • Optimized network bandwidth between game server and game client


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a number of client crashes.
  • Forming a group via persistent group feature would result in a "player left the group" (invitee) / 0x200007 message (inviter) on starting a session.
  • Inviter could get stuck on "Transmitting selected mission" screen during the invite process.
  • Choke bomb box was part of poison category in roster screen.

Update 1.1 - Patch #2



  • Fixed multiple client crashes
UI
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in the unlocked legendary popups not opening
Gameplay
  • Fixed the muzzleflash position of the Bornheim Match
  • Butcher no longer uses ranged attacks when extinguished (in choke bomb radius)
  • Fixed a bug where If there was only one bullet left in the Bornheim, reloading it with the Bulletgrubber trait did not save it.




Stability / Performance
  • Players may experience desyncs / rubberbanding issues during gameplay.
  • Client might crash when quitting the game.
Gameplay
  • For the improbable case when a player gets killed by the choke bomb’s damage (1), the death screen doesn't show the correct source just yet.
  • Sometimes weapons can drop on top of each other making it hard to loot the correct one.
  • In rare cases weapons can get stuck in a reload loop for a few seconds.
  • Sometimes tools or consumables can float in the world.
  • Fire from static lanterns in the world is currently not burning players.
UI
  • Teams of three opt in can sometimes be changed in random teams - this should not be possible.
  • It may happen that the underdog bonus is falsely displayed when in a trio.
  • Dollar rewards for challenges are displaying wrong values challenges tab - players receive the correct amount (double) though upon claiming.
Visual / Audio
  • In rare cases players might encounter objects with wrong/purple shading.
  • In rare cases clients might experience render issues when other players extract from the map.

Update 1.1 - Patch 1



UI
  • V-sync: in the graphical options, you can now set the V-Sync framerate lock that you wish. Example if your monitor has 144 Hz you can choose to cap V-SYNC at 72 Hz by picking 72 in the max framerate dropdown.




UI
  • Region selection was updating every 1 seconds and could refresh to previous state instead of currently selected region state.
  • Audio input device field cut long names off too early, making it hard or impossible to identify the correct device.
  • Owned filter and medium ammo filter wasn't highlighted after a restart in the store.
  • Plus symbol didn't disappear on the equipment screen when having a new item and a contraband version of it.
  • The region that was displayed in the "Match Found" banner took a few seconds to update to the correct region name. (This was only valid after region was switched).


Gameplay
  • Fixed some animation issues.

  • Players sometimes experience desyncs / rubberbanding issues during gameplay.
  • Client might crash when quitting the game.

  • Stopping the burning of a downed hunter with a choke bomb makes looting impossible.
  • Sometimes weapons can drop on top of each other making it hard to loot the correct one.
  • If there's only one bullet left in the Bornheim, reloading with Bulletgrubber trait doesn't save it.
  • In rare cases weapons can get stuck in a reload loop for a few seconds.
  • Sometimes tools or consumables can float in the world.
UI

  • Coat for legendary hunter 'The phantom' clips inside the chest in the menu.
