With just three days left until launch, we've managed to hit yet another Wishlist milestone thanks to your support! The latest goal unlocks the Disco Fever outfit, pictured below which will be available for players across all platforms once Surgeon Simulator: Access All Areas launches on September 2nd!



There's still time to wishlist the game and help unlock the final reward - the Plague Doctor outfit (yes, we saved the best for last).



We hope you're excited to perform surgery in these spectacular outfits!

Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas launches on September 2nd, and so with it comes brand new character models for all four of our playable surgeons: Milo, Heather, Penny and Kamal.

Plenty of work and love went into creating the original models, but as the scope of the game grew we wanted to make use of better facial animations which the old models simply did not allow - so we've been hard at work to make our playable characters even more expressive.

You can take a look at the old models compared to the new ones below:



The new character models will be coming to all platforms when the game launches next week on September 2nd, and we hope you're as excited as we are for all the new features coming to the game!

Introducing a brand new feature for Surgeon Simulator: Access All Areas - Modifiers! Add a whole new level of difficulty (and fun!) to the game by turning on these whacky modifiers, which will provide endless hours of entertainment (and dare we say frustration?) for you and your friends! [h2]VISUAL DRUG EFFECT[/h2]



[h3]Prepare to see a surgery of shapes and colours with this visual drug effect.

It’s not recommended to complete surgery under the influence...[/h3]

[h2]INPUT DRUG EFFECT[/h2]



[h3]A different type of drug that helps you walk, erm... creatively.

Tried walking to the left? Expect to go right. This effect reverses and randomises your surgeon's input.[/h3]

[h2]BUTTER FINGERS[/h2]



[h3]This is why it’s important to wash your hands!

Holding objects just got a lot more slippery, so prepare to be dropping things more than usual.[/h3]

[h2]CRAB WALK[/h2]



[h3]This effect will have your character stuck in the crouch position.

It really puts you in a pinch![/h3]

[h2]FLOPPY ARM[/h2]



[h3]What even are bones?

Be prepared to face great difficulty straightening your arm and picking up tools with this effect.[/h3]

[h2]LIGHTS OUT[/h2]



[h3]How’s your night vision?

This effect plunges the level into darkness, with only a few glow sticks to guide you around - like the good old days![/h3]

[h2]SPAWN RANDOM SYRINGE[/h2]



[h3]It’s raining syringes! This effect will spawn a red or yellow syringe for a random player.

Bossa Labs doesn't guarantee a 100% effectiveness, though...[/h3]

[h2]SPAWN RANDOM TOOL[/h2]



[h3]Will you get a saw, handsaw, hammer, scalpel or axe? There’s only one way to find out!

This effect will drop a random tool for each player… results may vary.[/h3]

Finally, are you a Twitch streamer? Then embrace the mayhem even more and let your viewers decide your stream's fate by activating the fully compatible PC Twitch extension. Let your viewers vote which modifiers are activated during your session to make your operations as chaotic as possible.

So there you have it - a brand new feature coming to Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas when it launches on Steam in one weeks time! We hope you all have as much fun with the modifiers as we've had playing, err... we mean testing them internally.

1 WEEK TO GO 'TIL LAUNCH!

There's just one more week to go until Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas launches on Steam - and there's still two Wishlist goals left to unlock!

So far, you've unlocked the I Am Fish cosmetic and the iconic dinosaur head, but there's still time to Wishlist and help us unlock the last two reward tiers: "Disco Fever" outfit and "Plague Doctor" skin.



Wishlisting will unlock these skins for players across ALL platforms, so by Wishlisting you really are contributing to the entire Surgeon 2 community!
