We have received inquiries from our customers regarding controller compatibility.
Currently, the Steam ver. for SCARLET NEXUS is guaranteed to only work with the following controllers.
- Xbox Wireless Controller
- DualShock 4 Wireless Controller

If the button icons displayed in-game are different from those of your compatible controller, please try the following setting changes.

1) Access your Steam Library, right click on "SCARLET NEXUS" and select "Properties..."



2) In the "CONTROLLER" tab, use drop-down menu to change override settings to "Disable Steam Input".

SCARLET NEXUS is told from two different perspectives through new OSF recruits, and you can choose to start as either. The truth of events will be revealed as you experience both perspectives.

[h3][Yuito Sumeragi][/h3]

Yuito, an optimistic, cheerful young man with a kind, unbreakable spirit. He is the younger son of the renowned Sumeragi family, a name that boasts ties to the founding father of New Himuka. His father is leader of the country, while his older brother is the chairman and leader of the OSF.
Saved by a member of the OSF when he was young, his dream has been to join their forces to also save other people in need.
He treasures an ear cuff that he received when he was saved.

Cool and logical, Kasane is brusque with others. The OSF recruited her for her combat sense and powers, and she graduated valedictorian. Though hard to approach, she shows kindness to those close to her. Kasane was adopted by the Randalls after losing her parents in an Other attack. Kasane did not get along with her foster parents, but loves her foster sister, Naomi. A hand-made hairclip from Naomi is her most prized possession.
Kasane dreams of Red Strings, but no one knows what the images mean.

A patch update for SCARLET NEXUS Steam version has been released fixing the following bugs:

- Unable to leave "Shop" with keyboard and mouse controls after receiving DLCs
- Character shadows don't show up when playing the game in certain languages
