Ironsight's newest map, Rust, is here!

Located in a small village in an abandoned industrial area, Rust's wide open areas should come as a breath of fresh air for grizzled veterans of battle, who have become accustomed to the tighter and more claustrophobic war zones in other areas. Equip a Sniper Rifle and unlock it's maximum potential in Rust's vast, open areas, or take refuge in one of the many abandoned factories spread across the map.

• Initially, Team Deathmatch will be the only playable mode on Rust as we test and gather feedback from the community. Further mode support will be added at a later date.
  
• Rust will be available in Custom Games, and Online Games when you are queuing for Team Deathmatch.
  
• Map Achievements will also be added at a later date.
  
• The map will be released with the Season 6 update on Thursday, the 16th of September.

Hello everyone, this is the Ironsight Team. Season 6: WWII will be going live on September 16th!

The Battle Pass is back with 100 new tiers, filled with exclusive rewards.
A new season of ranked will also begin, with an increased map pool, the ability to party up with a friend, and a team size increase to make the matches 6vs6!
Season 6 also introduces 4 new weapons. The Thompson (SMG), Kar98k (SR), Luger (Pistol) and Mace (Melee). Although these weapons are a blast from the past, they still pack a punch and contain a lot of history!

The servers will be down on the 16th of September whilst we apply the update.
Please make sure to disconnect from the servers in advance in order to avoid any issues.

[h3]2. Ranked Season 6[/h3]

Season 6 of Ranked will be live as soon as the servers are back online.

Season 6 will feature Ranked [Solo/Duo] from start to finish. Ranked [Clan] and [Duel] will still be open, but they will not be eligible for Ranked Rewards.

We received a lot of feedback last season about Ranked [Solo] and, in particular, how being able to queue up with a friend would make the experience a lot more enjoyable. As a result we have decided to upgrade Ranked [Solo] into Ranked[Solo/Duo]! This season you will be able to queue up by yourself or with a friend as you climb the ranks and push for your spot on the leaderboard.

A weapon as old as time, but still as effective as ever. The Mace's menacing appearance is likely to put the look of fear, and a sense of dread, into any enemy that see's it brandished in battle.

[h3]4.New Collection Skin[/h3]

The Pietro CheyTac has been added as a new Collection Skin. When unlocking this new collection weapon, you will also unlock the Pietro Long Eye (Only usable on the Pietro CheyTac)

[h3]5. Lethal Equipment Changes[/h3]

In round based game modes, Lethal Equipment that can be set up (Claymores and Spring Mines) will now persist even after the player dies, and remain until the round is over.

[h3]6. New Skill[/h3]

A new skill "Device Detection" has been added for the 3rd skill slot.
• 'Detect devices (Claymores, Spring Mines) set by the enemy.'

[h3]7.New Charm Type[/h3]

A new type of charm has been added to the game. When attached to a gun, this charm displays the total amount of kills you have achieved with that gun.

[h3]8.Bug Fixes and Improvements[/h3]

• The main lobby has been updated in accordance with the new season's theme.
  
• Improved character physics in order to solve the issue where players would sometimes get caught and stuck on the map. [09/16] Unfortunately this has been removed from the patch as it has caused issues during testing, We will be including it in a future patch.
• Reduced the brightness of the Claymores effect by 40%.
  

Welcome back to Season 6 of Ranked in Ironsight! For this season, Ranked [Solo] will be upgraded to Ranked [Solo/Duo], allowing you to team up with a friend and fight for your spot on the leaderboards! Along with this change, the team size has also been increased so that matches will now be 6vs6 (previously 5v5).

Ranked [Solo/Duo] will run for roughly 2 months, and due to this increase in length we have added more maps to the map pool to keep the competition fresh. Read about the new season of Ranked in detail below! The new requirement for participating i Ranked Matches is level 30, so make sure you are prepared before the season begins!

The entire season will run from the 16th of September to the 8th of December, for a total of 84 days.

• Level Requirement : You must be level 30 in order to participate in any of the ranked modes.
  
• During matchmaking, all player names, dogtags, titles and emblems are hidden.
  
• All players start the season at 1200 points.

• Penalties
  
  - Inactivity penalty after 7 days.
  - Abandoning a game will result in a temporary restriction in joining ranked matches again. This time will increase for repeat offences.
  - Leaving a game early will count as a loss.

Users that partake in actions that violate basic game rules will automatically be excluded from receiving any rewards. This includes the use of glitches, bugs, map boosting, use of 3rd party programs and hacks, etc

Punishable Activities

• Account sharing (For example, letting someone else play on your account in order to achieve a higher rank)
  
• Refusing to participate in the game, or going AFK.
  
• Intentionally losing or throwing the game.
  
• The following rules apply to Clan Wars
  
  - Moving to another clan with the intent/purpose of playing against your original clan.
  - Using alternate accounts under one clan in order to raise the score of another clan that you belong to.
  - Clans collaborating with each other in order to avoid other clans, and only match with each other.

Battle Pass Details

• Access the Battle Pass in the bottom right corner of the main lobby screen. Here you can inspect all 100 tiers and check your current progress.
  
  
• The Battle Pass can be bought by itself or as part of a bundle package which comes with more tiers already unlocked.
  
• The base Battle Pass comes with 3 tiers unlocked and can be bought for 9,900 W coin, whereas the bundle comes with 20 tiers already unlocked and can be bought for 24,000 W coin.
  
• These tier unlocks are applied to your current progress when buying the Battle Pass. For example, if you are currently on tier 7 when you buy the base Battle Pass, you will unlock 3 tiers and instantly be boosted to tier 10. If you are on tier 20 when you buy the Battle Pass Bundle, you will unlock 20 tiers and instantly be boosted to tier 40.
  
• After buying the Battle Pass, you will have the option to purchase as many tiers as you want using Chips. (Each tier costs 15 Chips)
  
  
• Each tier costs 15 Chips to unlock.
  
  
• You will progress through the Battle Pass as you earn XP in Ironsight. The bar at the bottom of the Battle Pass screen displays your current progress.
  
  
• You can also check your Battle Pass progress at the end of each game on the Match Results screen.
  

[h3]Battle Pass FAQ[/h3]

Q : How do I activate the Battle Pass??
A : The free course of the Battle Pass will be automatically activated on all accounts. In order to activate the paid course, you will need to purchase the Battle Pass in-game with W Coins.

Q : What is the difference between free tiers and paid tiers?
A : The paid course provides rewards for all 100 tiers whereas the free course only provides rewards for select tiers.

Q : If I purchase the Battle Pass, do I still receive the Free track rewards?
A : Yes, if you purchase the Battle Pass you will receive the paid rewards as well as the free rewards.

Q : What happens if I decide to buy the Battle Pass later?
A : If you already made progress in the Battle Pass before deciding to buy it, all previous paid tier rewards will be unlocked instantly when you purchase the battle pass.

Q : Is it possible to continue progressing in the Battle Pass after the season ends?
A : No, the Battle Pass is only available for a limited time and once the season ends, the Battle Pass will no longer be active and the remaining rewards will no longer be obtainable.

Q : Will I keep the Battle Pass items and be able to use them after the season ends?
A : Yes, you will be able to keep and use all items that you have earned in the Battle Pass even after the season has concluded.

Q : Are the items obtainable in the Battle Pass exclusive?
A : Yes, all items are exclusive to the Battle Pass and cannot be obtained in any other way.

Q : Are there any extra rewards available after obtaining all Battle Pass rewards?
A : Once you have completed tier 100 and obtained the 'Overlord Tar-21' and 'WWII Completed' Emblem, there are no extra rewards available.

Q : Do all skins in the Battle Pass come with a special reload animation?
A : No. Special animations are only available for some skins. If you would like to check if a weapon comes with a special reload animation, please test it out using the gun-range.
