Season 5 of Ranked will introduce a new system in order to create more variety, opportunity, and keep the competition constantly fresh for everyone! The entire season will be made up of 3 parts, Solo Ranked, Clan Wars and Duel.


[h3]Season 5 Schedule[/h3]

The entire season will run from the 24th of June to the 9th of September, for a total of 78 days.

[Part 1] Solo Ranked
• Schedule : 06/24 – 07/21 (28 Days)
  
• Parties : Disabled
  
• Mode : Search and Destroy Classic (All drones disabled)
  
• Team Size : 5 vs 5


[Part 2] Clan Wars
• Schedule : 07/22 – 08/18 (28 Days)
  
• Parties : Enabled for players in the same Clan.
  
• Mode : Search and Destroy Classic (All drones disabled)
  
• Team Size : 5 vs 5


[Part 3] Duel
• Schedule : 08/19 – 09/09 (22 Days)
  
• Parties : Disabled
  
• Mode : Duel
  
• Team Size : 1 vs 1



• Whilst one ranked mode is live, the other 2 modes will be closed.

Further Information

• Level Requirement : You must be level 15 in order to participate in any of the ranked modes.
  
• During matchmaking, all player names, dogtags, titles and emblems are hidden.
  
• Players now start at 1200 Rank Points (increased from 500 last season)
  
• The amount of players queuing for a Ranked Game will now be displayed during matchmaking.
  
• Open Time : 24/7
  
• Penalties
  
  - Inactivity penalty after 7 days.
  - Abandoning a game will result in a temporary restriction in joining ranked matches again. This time will increase for repeat offences.
  - Leaving a game early will count as a loss.

[h3]Rules[/h3]
Users that partake in actions that violate basic game rules will automatically be excluded from receiving any rewards. This includes the use of glitches, bugs, map boosting, use of 3rd party programs and hacks, etc

Punishable Activities

• Account sharing (For example, letting someone else play on your account in order to achieve a higher rank)
  
• Refusing to participate in the game, or going AFK.
  
• Intentionally losing or throwing the game.
  
• The following rules apply to Clan Wars
  
  - Moving to another clan with the intent/purpose of playing against your original clan.
  - Using alternate accounts in a different clan to raise the score of your clan.
  - Clans collaborating with each other in order to avoid other clans, and only match with each other.
  

[h3]Battle Pass Season 5: Dawn of the Desert[/h3]

Earn rewards for playing the game when you unlock Battle Pass tiers containing unique items.

Battle Pass Details

• Access the Battle Pass in the bottom right corner of the main lobby screen. Here you can inspect all 100 tiers and check your current progress.
  
  
• The Battle Pass can be bought by itself or as part of a bundle package which comes with more tiers already unlocked.
  
• The base Battle Pass comes with 3 tiers unlocked and can be bought for 9,900 W coin, whereas the bundle comes with 20 tiers already unlocked and can be bought for 24,000 W coin.
  
• These tier unlocks are applied to your current progress when buying the Battle Pass. For example, if you are currently on tier 7 when you buy the base Battle Pass, you will unlock 3 tiers and instantly be boosted to tier 10. If you are on tier 20 when you buy the Battle Pass Bundle, you will unlock 20 tiers and instantly be boosted to tier 40.
  
  
• After buying the Battle Pass, you will have the option to purchase as many tiers as you want using Chips. (Each tier costs 15 Chips)
  
  
• Each tier costs 15 Chips to unlock.
  
  
• You will progress through the Battle Pass as you earn XP in Ironsight. The bar at the bottom of the Battle Pass screen displays your current progress.
  
  
• You can also check your Battle Pass progress at the end of each game on the Match Results screen.
  

[h3]Battle Pass FAQ[/h3]

Q : How do I activate the Battle Pass??
A : The free course of the Battle Pass will be automatically activated on all accounts. In order to activate the paid course, you will need to purchase the Battle Pass in-game with W Coins.

Q : What is the difference between free tiers and paid tiers?
A : The paid course provides rewards for all 100 tiers whereas the free course only provides rewards for select tiers.

Q : If I purchase the Battle Pass, do I still receive the Free track rewards?
A : Yes, if you purchase the Battle Pass you will receive the paid rewards as well as the free rewards.

Q : What happens if I decide to buy the Battle Pass later?
A : If you already made progress in the Battle Pass before deciding to buy it, all previous paid tier rewards will be unlocked instantly when you purchase the battle pass.

Q : Is it possible to continue progressing in the Battle Pass after the season ends?
A : No, the Battle Pass is only available for a limited time and once the season ends, the Battle Pass will no longer be active and the remaining rewards will no longer be obtainable.

Q : Will I keep the Battle Pass items and be able to use them after the season ends?
A : Yes, you will be able to keep and use all items that you have earned in the Battle Pass even after the season has concluded.

Q : Are the items obtainable in the Battle Pass exclusive?
A : Yes, all items are exclusive to the Battle Pass and cannot be obtained in any other way.

Q : Are there any extra rewards available after obtaining all Battle Pass rewards?
A : Once you have completed tier 100 and obtained the 'Desert Fox AUG' and 'Dawn of the Desert Completed' Emblem, there are no extra rewards available.

Are you ready for the new season? Let's have a brief look at what's coming up in Season 5!

[h3]1. Battle Pass Season 5: Dawn of the Desert[/h3]

Just like in the previous season, the new Battle Pass will consist of 100 tiers.

With 100 tiers of various weapon skins, costumes, items, and more, make sure to complete the pass and get all of the rewards before the season finishes!

Let's meet Ironsight's newest Military Unit: the Desert Fox.

[h3]2. Battle Royale Solo Mode[/h3]

Leave the team behind and participate as a solo player, starting with only a knife at your disposal. Avoid the magnetic field as it continuously takes over more areas of the map, and scavenge for equipment in order to outlast all of your enemies.

[h3]3. New Ranked Season[/h3]

A new season of Solo Ranked will begin, and this time it will feature Search and Destroy Classic. In this slightly modified version of Search and Destroy, all drones are prohibited!

[h3]3. New Weapons[/h3]

A brand new LMG, the M240 LWS, the historic M1911 Pistol, and the extravagant Butterfly Knife have all been added to the game.

The Artium MP5 has been added as a Collection Weapon.

Once testing is completed we will release the seasons schedule in the update announcement. The final update may differ as a result of testing and feedback received.

• Server and Client stabilization
  
• General Chat is now enabled by default when first installing the game.
  
• Fixed a bug that occasionally affected the handling of parties during team balancing in the lobby. This occured during the interserver data migration, affecting the count and assigned score (used in balancing) of the teams with parties. In addition, team division should now be more evenly distributed following feedback that KD balancing is unfair to players with higher KD's.
