Just a few more days, and here is why

Hello everyone,

Just a bit of news about the update, It will be just a few more days on the update, We are trying to add the female player to the game for this update. The character is working great so far, just filling in some scripts to get her to use the tools and weapons correctly, and also working on adding her to the save system. I expect this to be done around the 12th as long as all goes well. It will be the 1.0 update and there is more in store than just the female character. since the map was expanded so much last week, I got to thinking that now would be a good time to think about transportation. So with that thought and with the game taking place at the start of the apocalypse, gas is almost impossible to get, then the next best thing is a horse.
Lots of folks in the mountains have horses and use them often to trail ride, so also in this update, we are working on a horse, everything is working except the horse is not saving when a player quits the game, and also have to adjust the female character to be able to ride as well.

You will be able to get the horse from trader Ron after completing a new quest that has been added. The horse has snap points for storage bags to be added as saddlebags and will allow players to transport stuff around the map. More Points of interest have also been added to the map with more NPCs to meet. Well, I don't want to give to much away, you will get a full report when the update is released. Thanks for hanging in there and showing your support.

Update version 0.9.99 Map Expansion and small Fixes

Hello everyone and welcome to another update, this is version 0.9.99 and is basically expanding the borders of the map to the full 4k x 4k size. The map still needs a bit of decorating but is open for exploring. Spawns have been added to the area for harvestables and some new trails have been added to get you around some of the map. Be sure to keep water with you so you don't dehydrate. I have also added 5 natural springs around the map for you to get fresh water from. I am running another test with the quest system, I know there are some problems with it and I am working on it. I hope to have it all ready for 1.0 release next week.

Speaking of next weeks update, keep your eyes open for news about the update, I have lots of small and large changes coming for next weeks update as we move into version 1.0 it's going to be awesome and bring the game together for more playability. Thanks for all your support and keeping this project alive, many many thanks

Hello everyone, just a quick update. While we work on the new vital system I wanted to still put an update out , so this weekend I will be uploading an update that will open the rest of the map , I sure you have noticed that we have a force field in about a 200 x 200 sq. The full chunk of 4k x 4k will be playable this weekend, giving you much more area to explore.

Other than that , the vital system looks good so far, we just have to work out a few more bugs before we can release it to the public. Thanks for all your support, hang in there.

Keeping you Updated

Hello everyone, it's a great day at A2G Studios and were here to give you a report on what is going on this week. As you all know we have pushed some big updates over the last 2 months, now we are working on bugs from those updates and also working on a new vital and sickness system. We still have a few days before we can give you the update with this new system, We did push a couple of small updates this week addressing issues with some items with the task system, and also fixed the colliders to make it easier to chop the trees. This week we are working on finishing up the vital system and expanding the map some.

We are so excited about the new vitals and sickness system, it will add new stats like Nutrients, Body Temp, Bladder, and Heart Rate. You will also be able to get sick, some may include Food Sickness, Flu, Broken Bones, Snakebites, Spider Bites, Bee Stings and more. We cant wait to get this out to you, but first, there is a little more work to do. Look for another report by the end of the week and thank you for all your support.

Part 2 Update Version 0.9.98

This is a major update for the game, this update is part 2 of the update released a few days ago and brings the game into a much more enjoyable and playable state. Up until now, I feel like the game was more of just a testing ground, but now I feel like the game is much more playable. I would also like to take this time to mention that development is moving along much faster now, and I want to thank all those that have been supporting me all this time.

Now for the update.
There have been so many changes that I will not be listing them all.
As far as the overall gameplay, testing shows that the game is much smoother and has a better frame rate. We did this by decreasing the amount of vegetation that spawns, and resizing some of the textures, along with these changes also added timed spawners for some of the loot generations.

Some of the features and changes in this update are listed below.

New Weapon Wheel

When you start the game now, you will have all the tools and weapons you will be using in the game and you will still have to craft ammo for the weapons. Hit the TAB to bring up the wheel and then just select what you want to equip. Place ammo in the hot bar and just hit the matching #key and you will reload the weapon.

All-new cabin building models

More than 50 new items added to the game

A few more things I want to mention
More crafting stations
Wolves run in packs at night, so beware
Bears are found deep in the mountains and are a Fatel threat
You can now hunt deer, wild boar, and other animals for meat, Fat, etc
Craft a chicken coop , and have eggs to eat
Greenhouse added
grow food, in or out of the greenhouse
New storage building added
New crafting recipes added

There is more than mentioned, you will have to play to see it all.

For the next few days all efforts will be spent fixing any bugs with this update and making improvements anywhere we can

Thanks for all your support.
