This is a tale from when Producer K was still a high-school student.

One day, Producer K had to stay late at school to take extra lessons to help him study. After his lessons had finished, he left the school in a rush. Worried that he wouldn’t make it home in time to see his favorite anime, Producer K decided to take a shortcut home. The road he decided to take was under construction, with long weeds everywhere obstructing his vision. Moreover, with no street lights to help light the way, the road was very dark. At times like this, Producer K would usually rethink things and take the long way home, but today, he wanted to watch the last episode of his favorite anime no matter what the cost. Looking back on it, he should have simply recorded it and listened to his better judgment...

Using the flashlight on his phone to light the way and navigate the weeds, Producer K noticed a small light swaying a little bit in front of him. At first, he thought it was just another person using the flashlight on their phone. After all, it wouldn’t be that rare to pass by another person on the path. Thinking nothing of it, he continued down the path. Yet as he got closer, he realized it wasn’t a light...but a lone woman. Despite the cold weather, she was wearing a pure-white yukata, and was faintly glowing for some reason.

Immediately sensing trouble, Producer K tried to go back the way he came. Yet as soon as the woman saw him, she started racing toward him at an incredible speed. Wearing a crazed expression, she quickly closed the distance, grabbed him, and...

Hey, hey, hey! I think that’s enough of my past for now. We’ve got to do the event preview! Hey, guys! Producer K here! Today is finally the day I’ve been waiting for! I’m going on a date with the person I’ve been interested in for so long. I was so anxious last night that I couldn’t sleep well! I should hurry up and go to the meet--... Huh? My body feels strange all of a sudden! Why does everything around me seem so big?!
