In case you missed the news, the big Steam Game Festival is happening again! From February 3 to February 9, over 500 game demos and developer livestreams are being featured in the event, and that includes The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark!

If you've been itching to get your hands on the sequel to The Darkside Detective, there's no better time than now. For a limited time, you'll be able to play a free demo for The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark, giving you a chance to dive into the spirit-soaked adventures of Detective McQueen before the full game launches later this year!

Naturally, the only thing better than getting to play the game is watching a bunch of the tired souls who made the game play it instead! On February 3 and February 6 we've got special developer livestreams happening here on Steam. You'll be able to catch some pixel-y sneak-preview goodness as we show off behind the scenes footage of the game, as well as special Code Coven gameplay walkthroughs with developers Traesa, Dave, and Paul!

How's it going, all you spooky folks?

In case you haven't heard, Hitcents is running a big exciting Steam event called The Big Adventure Event this week! From January 21st to the 25th, a bunch of adventure games are getting together for this celebration of all things adventure-y and point-and-click-y.

So, obviously, The Darkside Detective is part of it!

We've got a bunch of fun streams popping up throughout the event, including a juicy one for The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark. On Thursday, January 21st at 1PM EST we're going live on Steam with a special gameplay teaser showing off some of the action in a case from the upcoming spectral sequel!

There are plenty of other amazing adventure games taking part in The Big Adventure Event, too, and plenty of them are going to be streaming just like us! So show some adventurous indies a little love, and until next time!
