Patch 7.4.0 is here – and with it lots of exciting new challenges! Help the Hand of Balance establish a post on the volcanic island and face the Inexorable League in their final fortress.

Chassizz is the easternmost island in the Shataem Archipelago. The entire island is characterized by its unique terrain, which was created when the volcano at the center of the island erupted.

The island is crawling with dangers because it’s under the control of the Inexorable League, which rules it from the Celestial Spire. The New Pantheon lies within, well protected. Whatever they’re planning there must be stopped!


[h2] New Zone: Chassizz[/h2]
The island is waiting with lots of new main quests and side quests that you can play to progress your character.

[h2] New Instance: New Pantheon[/h2]
The New Pantheon is the last of our enemies’ hiding places. The temple was constructed with the help of the Naga and can be reached through the entrance deep within the Celestial Spire.

There are 5 bosses waiting for you there:

• Czerkonis will put you to the test. Are you strong enough to pass the trial?
• Lady Timata doesn’t fight alone: she has an army of her own children to fight beside her.
• The Chassizzene Nex is drunk on divine power and doesn’t want to let go of it again.
• Nekdar will use his entire arsenal to stop you from getting any further.
• Zhargos’ ‘Experimental Body Enclosure’ will be your last battle in the Pantheon. Prevent a Chaos Storm from being unleashed.

Defeat them in combat and seize your rewards!

[h2] New World Boss[/h2]
A new world boss awaits you in the Entity Chamber. Be careful – the whole place seems highly unstable.

[h2] New Leveling System – Introducing ‘Peak Levels’[/h2]
While the level cap will stay at 100, there is a new kind of level known as ‘Peak Levels’.

To unlock them you’ll have to complete the quest ‘Crossing the Mountain Path’ from Leya Peak in Varanas. Once you’ve unlocked it, the experience points that you collect will be calculated at this new level.

Peak values are linked to bonus buffs for movement speed, gold and drop rate as well as attribute increases for your character.

The upper limit currently available is Peak Level 5.

[h2]New Gear[/h2]
As in every new zone, there are powerful items that you can equip your character with. You can get new pieces of equipment from merchants, quests, by crafting and of course, in the New Pantheon.

[h2] Temporary Catch-Up Servers[/h2]
Together with the release of 7.4.0 we are opening two temporary servers that will rapidly speed up leveling. So if you’d like to try out a new character or return to RoM after a break, now is the perfect time! You can find information about the temporary servers here.

Between 18.12.2019 and 09.01.2020, all players from level 75 can take on the challenges of Dasein’s Labyrinth!

Who and How?

The portal can be found near the bridge in Varanas. The entry fee can be paid in gold or items but note that each time you enter on the same day, the fee will increase. The price is reset again every night around 2 AM.

After paying, you’ll be transported to the starting area where you can choose either to take on the labyrinth or enter the boss zone.

The Labyrinth

Inside the labyrinth, you have 3 minutes in which to find as many treasure chests as you can. The chests come in two different ‘flavors’: purple chests contain more valuable items than the red chests, but the former can only be opened using keys you find in the red chests. You’ll also come across traps which either slow you down or speed you up.

Dasein Boss Battle

You’ll need every ounce of your strength and cunning against Dasein. Only a fool would dare face her alone – you wouldn’t stand a chance!

Do you really feel like getting back into Runes of Magic? Have you always wanted to get a new character to the end game but never found the time? Or is there a class combination you’ve been dying to try? Then this is your chance!

With the new 7.4.0 patch we will be opening one temporary catch-up server each for Europe and North America. Here you can level up to level 85 at lightning speed with a whole load of boosts and benefits. Then your character can be moved to the regular server, and so straight into Chapter VII and all the new content it has in store!

• The new time-limited catch-up servers will open their doors from 18th December 2019 to 30th January 2020.
• Please note: You can transfer your characters to a regular server until 13th February 2020. All characters that have not been transferred by then will be deleted.

[h2] Your benefits on the catch-up server[/h2]

• Quick leveling: your XP and TP gain increase by a whopping 300%
• No repercussions: dying costs you zero experience points
• Turbo for secondary class: once you’ve reached the server-wide maximum level 85 with your primary class, you’ll receive a free Power Up Pill in the shop to level your secondary class straight up to level 80. See the item shop to find out exactly how it works.
• Exclusive offers: maybe you haven’t played Runes of Magic in ages and you’ve missed out on a few cool costumes, mounts and pets in the process. As soon as you reach level 85 you’ll unlock exclusive offers in the item shop that are only available on the catch-up server. So swing by once in a while and choose yourself something nice!
• Off to the regular server: as soon as your character has reached level 85, you can transfer it to a regular server of your choice within your region by the specified date.

[h2] How to bring your character home[/h2]

• You can have max. 2 characters on the catch-up server.
• You can transfer a total of 2 characters to the regular server. This number does not change even if you delete characters on the catch-up server.
• Once a character has reached level 85, you can transfer it to a server of your choice.
• The transfer is only possible until 13th February 2020. All characters that have not been transferred by this date (naturally, that applies especially to characters below level 85) will be deleted.
• All progress and your inventory will be transferred. The following exceptions will not be transferred with your character:
  • Friends list, Nemesis list and Block list
  • Your house
  • Your messages
  • Open auctions – so please withdraw your auctions and retrieve your items from the Auction House before you transfer
  • Guilds
• If a character with the same name already exists on the target server, you will be prompted to change the name of your character when you first log in.

• The new zone has been opened: Chassizz
  
• New main questline, side quests and daily quests have been added.
  
• The new instance "New Pantheon" has been added.
  
  • The instance will offer 3 difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard modes.
    
  • The New Pantheon difficulties are balanced around different Peak Levels following a progression.
• New World Boss "Zhargos".
  
• New Peak Level System have been added.
  
  • Player main and sub class need to reach level 100.
    
  • To unlock Peak Level, the player needs to complete the quest "Crossing the Mountain Path" from NPC Leya Peak.
    
  • The Peak Level experience player earns is 1/100 ratio of the normal experience.
    
  • Current Peak Level cap is 5. In the future updates, the level cap will be increased and new exclusive Peak Levels gear item will be added.
• New titles have been added.
  
• New crafting recipes have been added.
  
• New items for Ancient Mementos, Phirius Shells, Energy of Justice, Proof of Myth, Honour, Dreamland Pioneer Sigils merchant NPCs have been added.
