Over a decade full of magic and adventure lies behind us, and it’s an absolute honor to be able to celebrate this grand occasion with you, the heroes of Taborea!

We’re extremely proud and grateful to have completed this amazing journey with you all. Together we’ve made new friendships, forged plans, created guilds, crafted weapons, and experienced countless adventures.

It’s been seriously epic, and we hope that we will still be fighting by your side for many years to come. And to celebrate Runes of Magic’s 11th anniversary, we want to show our gratitude to you with a series of serious events!

12th March to 7th April 2020

The legendary Anniversary Festival has tons of in-game activities for you to participate in and earn valuable rewards.

[h2] Proofs of Myth[/h2]
12th to 19th March 2020 (11:59 PM)

Battle your way through a range of instances and collect Proofs of Myth to exchange! The bosses in the listed instances are all carrying proofs. Rally your friends and guild members around you to loot them. Remember that each boss has a fixed number of proofs on them, regardless of how many friends you take them down with.

Here’s where you can get the Proofs of Myth:

• Sirloth in the Hall of the Demon Lord
• Sydaphex in the Hall of Survivors
• Hidden Box in Sardo Castle
• Jenny Giant in the Tomb of the Seven Heroes (Hard)

In addition, the bosses in the Ancient Dreamland will drop Coins of Generosity which you can exchange for more proofs from Owenstein on the Central Plaza in Varanas City.

Log in each day and collect gifts for RoM’s birthday! Each day we’ll be sending you a different present per in-game parcel. If you have multiple characters, the first character you log in with will receive the gift.

• The new Peak Hunting System has been added.
  
  • It's meant to provide additional ways of obtaining the items required for unlocking Peak Levels.
  • All players with the level above 20, can visit Mystery Hermit in Howling Mountains, outside of Logar.
  • Mystery Hermit will announce a hunting mission on the hour every 2 hours. There are currently 59 different Peak Hunt quests.
  • Fulfilling the given task in said period of time will grant Peak Fragments as a reward. The first three people who report back after the hunt will receive additional Peak Fragments.
  • Note: Once the time runs out, the quest will automatically disappear, whether or not it has been completed.
  • Fragments can be exchanged for rewards from the Mystery Hermit's Companion.
  
  
• The new PvP Battleground "Stomping Grounds" has been added.
  
  • You can enter the battleground, by using the queueing interface next to the mini-map.
  • 25-30 players with level 100 can participate in the fight - you can register alone or in the group with up to 6 members.
  • You start with greatly reduced combat stats that you can increase over time: by killing monsters, successfully knocking out opponents, or opening chests.
  • The last surviving team or the last surviving fighter win - depending on the team size, you will receive different numbers of coins.
  • Copper Stomping Coin and Silver Stomping Coin can be exchanged for various items, which are useful for upcoming battles as well as new equipment and mount.
  • More information will be provided in the separate news.

• [ItemShop] Topping up diamonds will no longer open another browser window.
• [ItemShop] The preview of items in the Shop as well as incorrect shop page size while opening the Shop have been fixed in GF Client version of the game.

• Known issue: The cake is still named as 10th Anniversary, but rest assured it's still safe to eat!

In-game login event

• Event description: Receive an 11th Anniversary Gasha on the first login of the day, in addition to Frog Mania Buff (stack up daily until a max of 5). Based on the number of stacks receive Celebration Certificates which can be exchanged at Anniversary Event Hosts.
• Dates: 19.03 - 25.03
• Additionally: Login on the 19.03 and receive a Little Jumping Flower - Pet Box.

Join in the celebrations and ask for the blessing of the flower god in the Rose Growing Contest. Improve your fighting strength with special buffs and charge into adventure. More information on the Flower Festival can be found in our forum.

[h2]Flower Festival[/h2]
A long time ago, there lived a poor painter named Aiglo. He met a girl by chance named Naro while he was painting in the wild, with whom he fell instantly in love. But Naro was from a rich family, and Aiglo knew he would not have a chance. During his moments of sadness, a friend came and advised him to seek help from the Flower God. Flica Orly, a preacher of the Flower God, told Aiglo that he should plant a blue rose in Naro's garden to show his love for her. Aiglo tried many times but finally succeeded. That blue rose symbolized the miracle that would bring Aiglo and Naro together.

Naro was moved by what Aiglo did and their story spend around town. Soon everyone was asking for blessings from the Flower God and lived happily ever after. Over the years, everyone celebrated the Flower Festival at this time of the year.

• (New) Adjustment: The Flower Festival Happiness Package now also has a chance to drop temporary versions of the new Phoenix Chick Pet.

(New) Defending the Blue Roses

• Location: Thunderhoof Hills, outside Dalanis City; Miller's Ranch
  
• NPC: Ranch Kid, Jessica Miller
  
• Event Target: Help Jessica Miller to defend blue rose flower beds and fight off 10 waves of zombies.
  
  • Teleport to Miller's Ranch and take part in tower defense style mini-game.
    
  • Plant the Demon Blooms to defend against zombies. Player's normal skills don't dealing the damage to the zombies, please use the Demon Flowers.
    
  • Killed zombies will leave Flower God Energy on the ground, which can be collected and used for strengthening the plants or planting new ones.
    
  • If Manure Truck is destroyed, the mission fails. Talk to Jessica Miller to restart the challenge.

[h2]Adjustments and bug fixes[/h2]

• [Peak Levels] Bonus buffs have been adjusted and from now on gold drop buff is replaced by buff to damage done to monsters.
  • Known issue: the text in-game still state gold drop buff, but the new buff is working correctly.
• [Peak Levels] The attribute stats added by each Peak Level have been increased and from now on they will apply correctly.
  
• Note: Adjustments for the unlocking of the Peak Levels are unfortunately not part of this patch. These should be live within the upcoming weeks.
