We recently released, a new world map campaign mode to explore, strategize and vanquish upon. This mode offers a lot of replayability with over 40 new missions.

“Divided Continents” and "Archipelago" are the two maps currently released with a 3rd coming at the end of September along side of updatesa nd improvements. You can choose from variety of starting sceanrios as well as custom setup options.

In classic turn based stratagy style, the race to claim territory is on right from the beginning, you’ll see your foes movements and will have to respond immediately during your preparation phase. Once complete each army in opposing territory will take part in the combat phase. You can fight battles manually using your full real time stratgy skills, or gain victory based on your army strength and battle conditions using the auto-fight function.

Earn coins as you claim territory and spend them on reinforcing your regions, expanding your armies and upgrading your forces. As you conquer, you'll unlock new armies to coordinate and expand with.

Along the way to victory you will discover special quests, reap rewards and unlock new armies. Each territory confronts you with its own challenge and you’ll discover the advantages of certain army compositions. Each of the 4 factions capital introduces a new map and defeating it will remove that faction from the game.

Win victory points through battle and claimed territory. Once you’ve claimed enough for victory on the campaign you can carry on to dominate the continent entirely. Coloring in with your faction color as you see fit. The fewer turns you complete victory in, the higher your overall campaign score.

A mini (Rusviet Revolution) DLC and a larger 4th faction DLC (Operation Eagle) have already been released. If you play with someone with Operation Eagle you can benefit from the maps they have access to.

DevBlog 47: New World Map Update

And welcome to this the 47th DevBlog, which completes the world map campaign update. We’re back from the summer, recently enjoyed Iron Harvest’s 2nd birthday and we‘re celebrating with some of your fanart. Let's jump right into the pilot seat and see what's new.

[h2]News: New World Campaign Map![/h2]


It's called Schierland - A vast continent containing many interlocking territories. A large lake in the middle separates the north from the south and east from the west. With 3 enemy factions occupying different areas of the map, gaining control over a majority of regions will be a difficult endeavor.

Starting scenarios:

Storm on the Horizon - A tiny nations sits isolated in the corner of the continent. Nearby regions are full of riches, but too large neighbors are interested in same unclaimed land. Expansion will be necessary to avoid being crushed.

Borderlands - Despite vast holdings, your factions regions are relatively poor in resources. With only one army, defending your many borders will be a challenge. Scaling up your forces and securing more resources are essential to victory.

Unwanted Neighbors - Stuck between two antagonistic super powers makes any fight a tough one. Just securing more resources will require boldness and skill. Bringing down one opponent is enough of a challenge, but two? Be quick or be crushed.

Custom - Create a custom campaign. Select where each faction begins, how strong their army is and the size of their dominion

We shipped around 4,600 packages from Germany to you, all over the world. Luckily most of you have been receiving your Kickstarter packages over the summer, but we have heard from fans of some delivery issues which we want to investigate and resolve.

As you can imagine, this is as frustrating for us as it is for you. At this moment, we have approximately 240 packages that were returned for reasons ranging from incorrect addresses to not being picked up from the local postal office when no one was home. In today’s economy, that cost us a lot, but we hope to arrange for redeliveries later this year.

Iron Harvest’s release is 2 years old now! We are amazed by how far we’ve come and all the support you mech commanders have shown us over the years. Some of you are still with us since our announcement in 2016!

During these last 2 years, we released a ton of free content and are proud to be one of the biggest RTS currently out there. With this final release of the big world map addon, we can’t wait for your impressions and hope you will enjoy the missions and replayability for a long time.

Iron Harvest will continue to receive ongoing support with new seasons and cool rewards, while we are currently working on new awesome projects. There is nothing we can announce right now, but we are convinced that you’ll love our new games. We really can’t wait to see your reactions, but please be patient. Remember, we started Iron Harvest in 2016.

DevBlog 46: New World Map & Free Weekend + Sale



Greetings Harvesters,
Another free update for you this summer. We hope you’ve all been enjoying the weather and gaming. But, if you hate the sun, here are two good reasons to play inside.

[h2]News: New World Campaign Map![/h2]

We’ve a great response since launching our world map campaign mode. Turn-based and real-time strategy is a great mix. This mode offers a lot of replayability and we are happy to increase this with another map: Archipelago.



Archipelago is a small continent. Regions within it are connected along the continents exterior with multiple bodies of water separating regions on the interior. One capital is located in the west and two in the East. The continent’s center provides access to all parts of the map, making it a hard-fought for strategic target.

On Archipelago you can choose your starting scenario or customize your own:

Us or them – The single enemy faction in the west is slowly expanding and getting dangerously close to two areas of importance on this archipelago. While the enemy is not significantly stronger than we are, we must stay on pace I order for us to have a fighting chance. Do you have it in you to beat one key opponent?

Pioneers – The major factions are in a race to colonize and conquer new lands. Native nations will fight for their independence. You have been sent to conquer as many regions as possible before the other factions take the new lands for themselves.

Scattered Kingdom – The natives of the archipelago have revolted against the major factions following their annexation. As a result each factions territory is fragmented. You must put down the uprising and reunite our realm. Keep an eye out for opportunities to seize lands formerly held by our competitors as well.

Custom – Play your way, select which faction begins where, their starting strength, difficulty and victory goals. We’d love to hear the story behind your scenario.



Personally, I love island hopping in my strategy games and deciding which paths to take and which choke points to hold. Have fun, and as always, we looking forward to your feedback,
