The Talos Principle 2 News

Hi all!
Firstly, allow us to say thank you to everyone who bought and played the game yesterday. The reception blows us away, and we appreciate the love and support you have shown us over the years, especially now that The Talos Principle 2 is out.

We are working hard on addressing the issues a small number of players are experiencing. Please stay tuned here, as we'll have more info on upcoming updates very soon.

Until then, let's get back to why we're here today. Arguably the most famous puzzle game of all time, Portal, introduced us to one of the most popular AIs ever - GlaDOS. She was eager to jump into The Talos Principle 2, so check some of the highlights of her playthrough below.

good puzzle game is a compelling collection of brainteasers, but a great puzzle game provides compelling context to drive the player forward. The original Talos Principle balanced its Portal-esque first-person puzzles with philosophical introspection, examining what defines humanity, and quizzing the player on what they think, too. Its sequel confidently builds on its puzzle mechanics, but turns its narrative outwards, asking both the player and its own world: "What is a civilization?" The wait is finally over. The Talos Principle 2 is OUT NOW, and we can't stress enough how excited we are to see you experience this new chapter in The Talos Principle series.

The original game launched in 2014 and completely shifted the perspective everyone had on Croteam. At that point, we stopped being developers who knew how to do shooters and not much else and proved to everyone that we could do much more. The Talos Principle is, to this day, our most critically acclaimed title, and we are confident that the sequel will do it justice.

We hope you enjoy playing it just as much as we enjoyed making it.

Talos 2 will be available on Steam tomorrow, November 2, at around 9 AM Pacific / 12 PM Eastern / 5 PM Central European Time. Please keep in mind that the timing may not be exact to the minute.

We are just a couple of days away from The Talos Principle 2 launching, but before it does, IGN has a little tease for you made up of some never before seen parts of the game.

This particular segment is set roughly five hours into the game, and sees 1K and his expedition visit the mysterious Megastructure.
