Patch Notes [1.4.2]

Hey there,

We've got good news for completionists and those who have an eye for details! Here's what we fixed in this patch:

 • [COMMUNITY SUGGESTION] Added a setting option to display level time in milliseconds
 • Fixed the road clipping issue that happened for a few levels (Fasten your seatbelt, Head start, 4 stories high)
 • Fixed the link to the store from the main menu news item
 • Fixed the absence of input for Quit button in the main menu when using a controller
 • Fixed the campervan missing a grey line on the back of the vehicle
 • Fixed the cement truck missing a shader on the mixer
 • Fixed the issue that allowed a player to drive around in the background of the round result screen, making them control 2 cars for the next round in some instances
 • Fixed the credits screen redirecting back to the settings screen once it reaches the end even if the song is playing in the background. We also fixed some accents and spelling there.
 • Fixed scaling for multiplayer status messages that would appear very small on high-resolution screens
 • Fixed an issue where the text "Last Round in 10" can be seen if the player disconnects and reconnects on the round 4 result screen
 • Fixed the car's wheels colliding with the car's body when using an island cannon
 • Fixed the locked mastery island 1 building which was a bit under the terrain
 • Fixed the audio settings not applying to the Happy Volcano logo screen

You don't suck at reading patch notes all the way through! And you were right to do so because if you didn't, you wouldn't know we added something special in the credits. Turn the music on!

MULTIPLAYER LEVELS ROTATION: Winter is coming

Hi Parksters!

We hope you've been enjoying this first selection of levels in the Multiplayer levels. For this new rotation (available now!) here's what we cooked:

Winter is coming!
8 levels from the previous have frozen over, get your beanie on and let's start parking.

Four brand new grass levels
Discover Car of Duty, Stratosphere, and Bunny Hops and show us how to shortcut on Shorty Cuts!

Each rotation is made of 16 levels, so we kept 4 levels from the previous one in the count.
Let us know which one is your favorite in the comments, and join the conversation on Discord!

Patch Notes [v1.3.8]

Hey there,

We have some hotfixes coming your way. Thanks to all of you who took the time to report bugs, either on Discord or by email.
What has been fixed in this patch?
• The localization needed fixing in a few languages, but it's now done.
 • Some multiplayer achievements weren't triggering they will update automatically once you log in after the patch, except for the 'Carnivore' one (win 3 MP matches in a row). Go get them, tiger!
 • Xbox Controller wasn't recognized by the game: no more keyboard for you, that's fixed.
 • Your player level was sometimes not updated after an MP match: it was a display bug and your XP has been collected properly, now it will appear as it should in the online match result screen.
 • Your new personal record didn't update in a leaderboard: it was also a display bug, but your awesome performance was taken into account. It will appear correctly after the patch.

Roadmap Update

Hey Parksters,

It’s release week and first of all, we want to thank you for playing You Suck at Parking™ at launch. We got to see some amazing streams and cool screenshots and we loved it!

A lot of you requested more information about the roadmap of the game, and have raised concerns about its live aspect. We want to provide some milestones in this post today which hopefully will reassure you about YSAP’s future, and give some clarity about our ambitions for the game.
September 28th

First Level Rotation
We have more multiplayer levels in store for you! Every two weeks, the 15 levels in the rotation will change to provide even more challenge and diversity for online players. Next up: we will ice up some levels because winter is coming.
October

Friend Parties
We’re currently finalizing this feature to allow for parties of 4 players with your Steam friends. It wasn’t ready to go for launch, and we want to make sure everything works properly before deploying it, especially for such a highly expected feature. It should be available next month.
Please note that you won’t be able to create cross-platform parties. You can learn more about the cross-platform aspect of the game here.
November

All new Multiplayer levels and Seasonal bundles
Exclusive bundles will drop for Halloween and Movember. You can also expect a whole bunch of new multiplayer levels that will test your parking skills like never before.
December

Season 2 and new biome
The Parking Pass Season 2 will start this December.
Around the same time, a whole new biome will be available, providing brand-new content in the campaign and new multiplayer levels. More on that later!
