We hope you loved the latest update we brought to Garden Paws which featured the trick or treating in Florens! This event will come to Florens every Fall in game so don't worry if you missed it during the event this past couple weeks.

We are pretty excited to say we have another huge update already! This update features the animal shop expansion, axolotl breeding, two new crops, sushi and more! We originally meant for this update to be a quick small update but kept getting excited over new content and added a little too much. We hope you enjoy!



There's a new shop expansion, the animal shop! This expansion will let you sell animals directly to customers and is available once you have the second shop level. These customers will offer you up to 10% extra coin for your animals and will have an optional request to add an extra item for a huge bonus.



There is a new chick in town, the Silver Laced Chick! Following the cozy robe quest line Jones will share a surprise new addition to their shop. This chick can be raised and even bred to get unique coloured Silver Laced Chickens!

There are two new crops, rice and wheat. The wheat field and rice paddy are a permanent source of wheat and rice that does not need to be replanted and can be harvested every few days.





Once the rice is harvested it needs to be processed and turned into bags of rice, this can be done at the new Rice Mill.

With the recent introduction of new fish, and growing your own seaweed and rice; we have decided to create a sushi station! You'll now be able to prepare fish and create an assortment of new sushi rolls. The sushi station is also where you'll turn bags of rice into cooked rice to use in dishes.





There is a new Super Bouquet Seed maker that can transform flower bouquets in a larger number of flower seeds! This quest line starts one year after Sammy gifts you the first seedmaker.





The Axolotl that came in with the last Garden Paws update can now be bred! The babies have a chance to be a random colour and size. There's a legendary secret to do with breeding this animal! Looking for spoilers head over to our Discord.

Splash shares a story through a set of quests that describes how a magician long ago taught their family how to make stone mannequins that could walk around! These mannequins can display any skin and wear any clothing items.

• Cozy Robes - There are 5 new Cozy Robe items that can be crafted from alpaca fiber, delicate fur and wool! These robes can all be dyed. Once you complete the quests in town some of the villagers will be wearing these robes until 9am every morning!
  
• Pirate Chest - This new chest is coming in as a reward at Petey's Pirate Shop! It can obtained for 25 pirate coins.
  
• The Miners Hat and Spotlight can now be crafted!
  
• Large Food Storage - This new item can be obtained after the quest line with Jones and the new Silver Laced Chick. This item can be dyed with the furniture paint brush.
  

[h2]Other notes/changes:[/h2]

• The legendary animals can now be washed with the water bucket if you dyed them...
  
• The Bean can be purchased from Frank multiple times.
  
• The Feather-light chest can now be painted.
  
• The grass now stays green for the first 10 days of fall.
  
• Patchwork skins have been moved from Splash's shop to a new skin shop in Halloween Island.
  
• More life has been brought to this update with more NPCs walking around.
  
• Long fishing times when fishing with low-fps have been fixed.
  
• Fixed an issue with Twitch chat viewers disappearing from the bottom of the screen.
  
• Fixed an issue with the Stylist Dress when using it with the Fox character.
  
• There's now an alert when you harvest seaweed from seaweed poles.
  

In a previous update we added trading butterflies with Alberto and Malu for gliders and accessories but did you know you can trade 100 butterflies with Pamela to obtain a legendary butterfly mount that you can fly?

This new treasure chest can be purchased from Petey with pirate coins!

Happy Halloween everyone! We prepared a Spooktacular PC Update for you just in time for Halloween! This update features new costumes, furniture, clutter items, a new crafting method and a whole new Trick or Treating event for fall!



Trick or treat, we want sweets, to get effects, when we eats! We’ll trade our wrappers, At the store, For new outfits, And decor!

The Mayor has come up with a new way to celebrate Fall in Florens! Now every Fall between 20 and 30 you'll be able to go up to everyone and ask for candy. Eating the candy from trick or treating will give a special effect that lasts a short while or even the whole day.

Save those candy wrappers though because Miah, the new shop-keeper, will take them and give you new costumes and decorations! Miah can be found during the Fall Festival running around town with her Pumpkin wagon.



During this weekend we're making the trick or treating event available all year long in Florens. Come Monday we'll be changing it back to happen every Fall between 20-30 in-game days.





You can help Roman and the Mayor to acquire a great new machine for the town! The Resource Activated Machine or R.A.M. Unit can turn 100 Plant Fiber, Stone or Wood into a beautiful item!

The catch is, each time you craft an item you need a Schematic or as Roman likes to call them, Chips!
You can purchase R.A.M. Chips from Roman for 250 coins but they can only be used once so make sure to go see them if you need more.

The R.A.M. Machine can be used to create many different new decoration and clutter items! They look great in the shop!





A new animal has been spotted in the shores of Florens, you can now buy a large aquarium from McCoy and tame the adorable Axolotls!





We're still working on adding some last minute items so you'll probably see some extra patches in the next few days. Have fun trick or treating and collecting all the new items this update brings and we'll be back with another update soon!

Mini-patch 1.5.1e fixes issues with the Butterfly Pet and adds the new Patchwork Skins and Night Sky Skin.

This is a small patch fixing some of the issues encountered with the new update we pushed yesterday. Mainly fixed a couple of quest issues and a bug that caused a guest's world to merge some data with a host's world after playing multiplayer. If you have encountered the bug you can roll back your save to restore your world to it's previous state.
We also added a new skin to splash's shop.

Let's dive into what we've brought to the latest update for the PC!

Now that the Switch has been released we, (devs Kristina and Dan), got so excited about adding content to Garden Paws that we got a little carried away and added a bit too much to the update. At a certain point it got so big that it became a challenge to wrap up so we have created a rough content roadmap.

This update brings the legendary Bean House, Jigsaw Puzzles, the Chipmunk creature, 9 new Fish, 18 new Butterflies (wings and gliders), a permanent shop assistant and musical updates by our composer, Thiago Adamo.



Garden Paws has always been a game we enjoy playing as much as we enjoy making so we're happy to say we have lots planned for future updates! We are planning to add the Axolotl creature, new crops, a sushi station, and lots lots more. If you'd like more spoilers on what we've been working on, our Discord is the best place to find them.

We are very excited about enhancing the shop experience in Garden Paws. With the Animal Shop Expansion you'll be able to place animals in "for sale barns" in which customers will offer more coin than if you sold them at your shop tables. The customers may also ask for an additional item to purchase with the sale of their animal. If you choose to fulfill the customers request you'll be rewarded with a higher profit.

While we have no specific ETA on these exciting new features we hope this gives you a glimmer into what's in store for Garden Paws.





There is a new epic house to obtain through Frank! It costs a mere 250,000 coins and because Frank doesn't mind if you spend all your coins on beans, you can purchase as many as you'd like! This quest line starts Summer Year 3 with Flo.





Cai has joined Florens with dozens of puzzles to complete for Golden Puzzle Tickets! These tickets can be traded in for epic puzzle rewards including a unique chest, glider, planter and more! You can find Cai a few days into Spring and they'll be there year round.







The waters are overflowing with new fish! Fisherman McCoy learned the secrets of chumming the waters and will teach you through a new quest line that starts in year 2.

The Chum also requires a new item to be crafted, the Worm! You will be able to find worms as a new drop from ferns around the islands of Florens while gathering plant fiber.





The fish traps have been reworked for a more pleasant experience! The traps have a chance to catch something without having bait. Baiting will have a higher chance to catch better fish though. Additionally to pick them up you need to hold the action key instead of simply tapping it, preventing accidental pickups.





For a while all Florens citizens had to protect themselves from the forces of the dungeon were wands, but recently the mysterious shopper in the dungeon started stocking a magical sword in their shop. The sword still fires magical projectiles when you swing it, but you get to look way cooler while doing it!

Along with the sword there is a new fire wand to purchase from the shopkeeper for 25,000 shards as well. These two new items do a base damage of 20 compared to the base wand at 15 and the ice wand at 18 damage.





There's a new creature in the game, the Chipmunk! The Chipmunk can harvest fruit trees and berry bushes for you and will store them in their habitat. The quest line to obtain the Chipmunk starts with James.

With the chipmunk comes new items! Around the pine trees in the game you now will have the chance to find acorns, that can be used to tame chipmunks or sell. When destroying trees there is now a rare chance of obtaining a tree trunk that can be used to craft a chipmunk habitat, sell or decorate your house.





There are a lot of new butterflies to collect! They can be used in your face accessory slot to follow you around. Malu and Alberto have new questlines to make new butterfly wings and gliders based on the new designs. Once you have the quest lines done you'll be able to trade 10 butterflies for the butterfly accessory or 50 butterflies for the glider.





Our Audio Lead, Thiago Adamo, fixed many audio bugs and added new songs to the major parts of the game. This update also brings the amazing instrumental feats of the Saint Petersburg Studio Orchestra to the Dungeon Boss music and the work of the talented Italian Cellist Federico Puppi to the new theme song!

• 9 New Fish that can be obtained from chumming the waters which McCoy will teach you in year 2.
  
• Fish Traps Reworked - You can now catch something without having bait, but if you bait your traps you'll have a chance for better fish.
  
• A dungeon sword has been added in replacement of using a wand. This can be purchased from the shop for 25,000 shards and deals a base of 20 damage.
  
• A fire staff has been added to the dungeon shop and can be purchased for 25,000 shards. This deals a base of 20 damage.
  
• Glow Tortoise and Molten Dragon types have been added.
  
• Hatchery bar should no longer show up when you're looking away.
  
• Stone platform should now be able to have items placed on it.
  
• Geode Processor now has an auto deposit option.
  
• Butterfly garden now has a pickup all option.
  
• Fixed a bug that prevented the blue mystery box from being clicked until the fish came up.
  
• Fixed a bug that resulted in invisible customers coming to the shop.
  
• Fixed an issue that caused penguins to drop from foundations placed underneath their habitat.
