Supporter’s pack DLC will be removed on Monday the 23rd of December. The DLC included:

• The golden pickaxe skin
  
• The soundtrack of the game
  

After this long time since the initial release of the game, we felt that our biggest fans had had the chance to purchase the pack for our support and the package no longer served any purpose to us or the players. Also, it created some confusion among the users after we combined the free version and the Riches DLC some time ago. (Read more about this in our previous announcements)

If you purchased the supporter’s pack earlier, you get to keep the product and enjoy your golden pickaxe!

Odd looking statues have been excavated in the mines. What could they signify? Unveil the mystery to experience the new epic ending, and a reward!

Besides the new mystery around the new ending, the town buildings got some updating.

The sheriff building now offers the players quests that they can complete for extra dollars while they're in the mines. Updating the sheriff's building unlocks more quests.

The Saloon now offers some entertainment for the players and upgrading the saloon unlocks a trophy showcase, which you can fill in by excavating trophies in the mines.

The reward: Unveiling the new ending rewards the player with MagnetoGun. Surely the fastest way to mine stuff in the game so far. Just aim at the wall and pull the trigger. You'll see, if the statues find you worthy.

About the previous combining of the DLC and the free version:

We wanted to clear some things as our announcement regarding the issue turned out to be a bit confusing for some.

• The Riches DLC and the free version were merged into one package
  
• No game content was removed from anyone
  
• Previous owners of the DLC still get the updates
  
• Previously claimed free versions are still playable as the free version was before the merge
  
• If you want to purchase the new full game, but claimed the free version before, you need to uninstall and remove the Cave Digger from your steam library and then you should be able to purchase the game.

We have updated Cave Digger on Steam to be identical to other platforms. This also means there is no free version available anymore (users who've downloaded it before will be able to play it in the future).

All the content that was previously in the Riches DLC is included in the new paid package.

Also we've released the huge Railway into the Depths update as a free content for everybody who's purchased Cave Digger.


If you have previously claimed the free version but can't purchase the game now in store:

1. Remove and uninstall Cave Digger from your steam library.
2. Go to https://store.steampowered.com/app/844380/Cave_Digger/ and purchase the game

Massive content update is now available for the owners of the Riches DLC. The update adds hours of new gameplay content in the free-roam world of Cave Digger. Yes, you can now get da heck outta the elevator and use the joystick to move around.

Find the train outside of the saloon and hop on it. The train will take you deeeep into the mines where hours of new adventures await.
