Version 1.6.0

Hi everyone!

The new version 1.6.0 is out! Here the new features:
  • F1 2020 - native support for F1 2020 (by Codemasters). Instructions on how to configure SRT and F1 2020 can be found here: https://www.simracingtelemetry.com/help/F12020/.
  • Sharing - you can now share your telemetries with other users and compare your laps with the ones from your friends. Used with the "comparison" feature, this is the best tool to improve your skills. Sharing and importing is simple: open a telemetry session and press the "Share" icon, select the "Share" option and send/save the file. When you receive a ".SRT" file, you can import it from the game screen pressing the "Import" icon.
  • Exporting - a long-awaited feature is finally available: you can now export your telemetry data to CSV file, to analyze them with other programs (Excel, LibreOffice, etc.). Exporting data is simple: open a telemetry session and press the "Share" icon, select the "Export to CSV" option and send/save the file. Saving CSV files could require few minutes and could result in big files, so be patient when exporting them.

v1.6.0 is available on all the supported platforms, see our web site for the download links.

We hope you'll enjoy the new features. Happy racing!

v1.5.0 is now available

Hi!

as anticipated few days ago, now version 1.5.0 is available on all platforms! Here the new features of this release:

  • F1 2019 - this release adds native support for F1 2019 (by Codemasters). Instructions on how to configure SRT and F1 2019 are here: https://www.simracingtelemetry.com/help/F12019/ ;
  • statistics module - this release adds the new "statistics" feature: you can now compute mathematical statistics for each supported telemetry parameter. This information is essential when you work on car setups. For example you can compute the maximum speed, the average tyre temperature, etc. Supported statistics are: min, max, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, median, median absolute deviation. The statistics can be configured for individual laps or for whole sessions, with output in tabular form and (for session statistics only) graphics charts. The lap statistics supports the "comparison" feature.
  • under the hood - SRT now uses a "data flow" approach to automatically update the views when the underlying data change. This is an "hidden" feature and will help developing better features in the future. This is a big technical change and if you notice any bug, please report them at [email protected] .
  • Early Access - we decided to preserve the current "look" of SRT for the first release, so we have updated the Early Access description accordingly. Of course this is a very subjective opinion, and not everyone will agree, but we prefer to preserve the simplicity of the current interface and avoid to clutter it to mimic other more complex products ;) . But for the final release we'll add two very important features currently missing: sharing of telemetries and export of telemetries. With the sharing feature you'll have the option to send and receive copies of the telemetries to/from other users and friends; with the export feature you'll be able to export to CSV files all the data stored in a telemetry, allowing you to make your own analysis using external softwares like Excel, Matlab, etc.

As usual, the new version is available on all the supported platforms (PC, Mac, iOS, Android).

Upcoming v1.5.0 (with support for F1 2019)

While the build v.1.5.0 is already available on iOS and Android, the PC/Mac version is under review by Valve. We'll publish it as soon as it will be approved for release by Valve.

v1.4.3 release notes

Hi,

below the changes in version 1.4.3 of Sim Racing Telemetry:
  • Fixed missing lap data from F1 2018 after pit stops (thanks to Anatoly for the help).
  • Changed images of Codemasters games.

We are working for the next update, but if you encounter any bug please report it in the forums or writing at [email protected].

Happy racing!

SRT v1.4 adds support for "F1 2018"

With the release of version 1.4, Sim Racing Telemetry (SRT) adds support for F1 2018 (by Codemasters). You can now analyze the telemetry of the official F1™ videogame and prepare for your upcoming eSport championships and competitions.

The integration with F1 2018 is supported on the following platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.

Please note that updates of the game could change the communication protocol, in this case SRT will be unable to record data and we'll publish an update in few days. For any problem, please write at [email protected] .

In this version we also improved the missing lap/sector timings when the last game packets are not received. It should improve the recording quality on noisy WiFi connections.

In the next updates we'll roll out some new important features: some of them will be hidden "under the hood", others will appear as new views and will report new data about your racing sessions. More details soon :)
