0.181.5 - Shiny Core

This is a bugfix patch. Changelog:
  • Geologist will no-longer forget prices if you have microseismic drone.
  • Guiding drone system won't attempt to track ore chunks in cargo holds anymore.
  • Additional performance improvements.

0.181.3 - Supercritical Cortex

A performance release, focused at optimizing the game - making it run faster and smoother. While a lot of the internals of the game changes significantly, looking from outside you should notice just one thing - speed!

Optimizations are vast and across the board - from AI, through physics to details like HUD sensor display. In both of our internal testings and player reports performance improved from 200% to over 300%.

0.180.7 - Unlimited Power!

This release combines a critical bugfixes with extra features and upgrades. Most important for most players - I found and fixes an encounter that caused consistent crashes when diving in the rings. Fixing that will hopefully resolve all the recently reported in-flight crashes.

But there is more! We have new upgrade slot and new upgrades - 6 to be exact. Those are auxiliary power options, for these ships that just need extra juce to power their systems. We also have some extra tuning options requested by our community,

Full changelog:
  • Added new auxiliary ship slot and 6 upgrades to install in there.
  • Reactor now shows clearly that it has too much pressure and is about to blow, and gives you few seconds to react. If you see intense plasma fires coming out of your reactor, it's time to fix this leak NOW. As a consequence, reactor will also not blow suddenly if you are just playing with OMS sliders.
  • Fixed a bug that caused consistent crashes when flying.
  • Fixed a bug that could freeze the game if you crashed badly in very dense area.
  • Made the prospector grinder bit stiffer.

0.177.0 - Stability Dampers

This is a polishing / bugfix release, patching up all the problems discovered since last content updates. The highlight of this release are stability upgrades - I found a couple of ways you could crash the game and patched, hopefully, all of them.

I managed to slip in a new upgrade: the guiding recon drone, which allows you to input targets manually to your autonomous drone systems.

Detailed changelog:
  • Added a new guiding drone upgrade.
  • Upgrade menu will now show the control key for a upgrade, if available.
  • Fixed crashes when repairing ships and skipping time at Enceladus.
  • Fixed a bug that caused parts of Enceladus screen not to respond to mouse input immediately after a ringdive.
  • Same ship can no-longer be listed twice in dealer menu.
  • All the buttons are now available on main menu screen on devices with low resolution.
  • Fixed thruster wear to work again as expected.
  • Fine-tuned pirate dialog options, so it's now easier to successfully threaten a pirate.
  • Fixed a bug in AI that caused terrified captains to shoot ignoring the engagement distance.
  • Fine-tuned tutorials, so texts stay on screen long enough for everyone to read them.
