Developer Insight - Never Give Up

Hey everyone,

Today we're sharing more insight from the development team behind Bounty Battle!

There will always be little known gems from the indie world, and I am delighted with the idea of one day being able to help by uncovering games that in my eyes deserve to be discovered (or rediscovered). Of course the purpose of this dream would be to be able to add all the possible characters into Bounty Battle, but let's be realistic; there will be creators who will not wish to participate. For others, the rights relating to the use of the character are too complex and still at the end I cannot have infinite capacity to bring attention to every lost gem.

Of course I have already been refused, and I understand well the creators who find it difficult to trust a stranger even if I have all the good will in the world. However, to stop there would be to restrict oneself to wanting only "big" guests, who in the end no longer represent what the independent world is in my eyes.

We can't wait to share more news on Bounty Battle and share this great fighting game with you all.

Bounty Battle Delay

We’re sorry to say that we’ve had to make the unfortunate decision to delay the launch of our upcoming All-Star Indie Fighter, Bounty Battle.

Our goal to provide an amazing couch co-op experience to our community is within reach, but we felt that we still had significant improvements to make that we simply could not achieve without a slight delay.

Our community's experience is of utmost importance to us, so keeping that in mind we decided to take the time we needed to deliver Bounty Battle as intended and intact.

This means that Bounty Battle will no longer release on the 23rd July as previously announced. We will update the community as soon as we have a new release date to share with everyone!

We would like to take this time to thank you all for your patience and understanding while we resolve this.
Thank you,

Oddmar can summon a troll - beware of him, under his smile hides a curse which could be deadly, you won't want to stay around to find out!

Tetrobot can summon Psychobot as a reinforcement, it will psychically strike opponents from a distance allowing Tetrobot an opportune respite and doing all of the hard work for you, so you can relax and watch the carnage unfold before your eyes!

The Shield maiden can make Vorgr appear as a reinforcement, this sad silhouette will boost you and can also attack, allowing you to defend yourself - useful for when the fray is getting intense!

Harry can summon a Bug, this pungent creature is particularly dangerous when it jumps, Harry will be able to protect himself by staying near. If you are on the receiving end of this attack, this minion will definitely bug you!

Developer Insight - Advent of Indie Gaming

Hey everyone,

Today we're sharing more insight from the development team from Bounty Battle!

To create a game like Bounty Battle, you must above all be passionate about gaming, especially independent video games. For me, indie gaming arrived in around 2005 and I was instantly intrigued, with the scene only continuing to expand since then. From the early 2000s, my decision was made, I would be an "indie" video game designer ...

Fortunately, in these years, the popularization of creative tools and broadband allowed many independent and small studios to begin creating these magnificent independent games. After years of learning, modelling and development, it was finally time to embark on my own project. Of course we did not start a "major" project without breaking our teeth on models and other more or less functional prototypes, (including 2 familiar faces to Bounty Battle fans, Ollaf and R182). And for our game, once the concept was in place and the first contacts established, we quickly realized that the independent world is super friendly.

I can never thank enough all those who allowed me to realize this dream. But the will to make a game is not sufficient in itself, you have to give yourself the means to create your vision, and when you are independent, often the only way to do that, is to accept that it is going to be a massive undertaking, both in terms of effort and time, and that lifestyle often proves to be more difficult in practise.

Rudy can summon a very aggressive monster who will not hesitate to jump at the enemy! It's best to stay on their good side!

Gully can spawn Calibretto, opponents should not be within shooting range once Calibretto has decided on their target! Locked on, there is no stopping Calibretto!

Captain Flinthook can summon a ghost, who will follow him or can grant various powers. Boo!
