Tribe 0.09.8.5 is now Live

0.09.8.5 Release Notes:

This update was focused almost entirely on bug fixes and polish, especially for the decks and multiplayer

* Equipment can now be changed without restarting your session
* Added Track's genre to search keywords (genre is not displayed but is still imported from id3 tags or Rekordbox xml files)
* Added Spanish, French, Italian, and German language options
* Updated Home menu to highlight new features, active support, and other live events. Note the "DJ Mode" button for back to back has been moved to the Rooms menu.

* Fixed Reverb G2 inputs
* Improved pause brake handling and fixed issue that could break playback tempo temporarily
* Fixed avatars sometimes freezing in multiplayer
* Fixed occasional crash when closing a video call
* Fixed loops set by clients sometimes desyncing playback slightly in b2b
* Fixed issues where sync starts were frequently off, especially for tracks with different original BPMs
* Sync applies more aggressively to always keep the deck in sync and realign instantly, such as after pressing play or cue, scratching, beat jumping, needle searching, or jumping to a hot cue. Offsets from the beat after jogging are maintained until sync is toggled off and back on
* Fixed beat jumps and other position changes (e.g. returning from slip) to be virtually instant so they don't desync tracks
* Fixed loops sometimes getting stuck on the loop edge or overrunning the edge
* Improved back to back stability and fixed many small multiplayer bugs for guests
* Fixed the track position marker sinking through the waveform after an hour or two of playing
* Fixed volume increasing significantly after turning on Echo Beat FX.
* Fixed mixer mic talkover mode. Now properly ducks master out while talking.
* Fixed some issues that could lead to tempo desync in back to back, causing audio skipping and other issues for clients.
* Subtitles move near whatever you're looking at to so your eyes don't have to refocus, improving readability.
* Many other miscellaneous bug and crash fixes

* Many misc fixes

Tribe 0.09.8 is now Live

0.09.8 Release Notes:

0.09.8 Release Notes:

New Features:
* Adds support for our new Video Call feature. Steam users can now join our live video call workshops for free, as well as calls run by other users to hang out and share tips and tricks with other DJs. Currently starting your own Video Call is not available as it requires a Tribe Plus subscription, but we are working making this option available to Steam in the near future.

See https://live.tribexr.com/ for active video calls!

* Added support for playing FLAC files! (FLAC file metadata import not yet supported, but you can workaround with a Rekordbox collection import for now)

* Added equipment save states. Toggle saving in the Settings > Equipment menu to autosave important controls between freeplay sessions. By default only saves "settings" controls like crossfader curves, jog weight adjustment, headphone levels, time display mode, and others. If you would like to customize your save to include other controls check with us in the help channel or the FAQ for more info.

* Massive optimizations to GPU performance, allowing Tribe to run at solid framerates on lower end GPUs.

* Added slip functionality to loops and hot cues (hold hot cue to play, release to return to slip position). Also added a slip position marker to the screen.

* Added scroll lock to Twitch chat (scrolling up activates lock)

Fixes:
* Fixed issue where Beatport/SoundCloud tracks would sometimes fail to open after download and required loading twice.

* Fixed import of Soundcloud tracks from Rekordbox collections

* Optimizations to multiplayer track syncing

Tribe 0.09.6 is now Live

0.09.6 Release Notes:

* Added album art import on track load (shows in browser and on CDJ3000 jog wheels)
* Added OpenKey format and wheel, toggleable in the track browser
* Added secondary sort box (pops up after selecting primary sort category)

* Changed Vive "reset control" input from down pad on both controllers to left pad on the left controller and right pad on the right. This fixes an input conflict that could make scrolling through the track list reset a control grabbed by the other hand.
* Added Hand Offset toggle in Settings > Equipment to optionally use previous hand position (tracked from the controller root instead of matching your real hand). Useful for Vive users who find the controllers frequently clash when trying to use both hands in close proximity.

* Fixed Beatport track downloads occasionally failing on first load
* Fixed Beatport playlists only showing first 100 tracks (now supports any size)
* Increased brightness and blink speed of DJM-900NXS2 button lights for better visibility
* Fixed popping audio when scratching with master tempo enabled
