This is just a quick announcement to let you all know that the Herding Hound DLC for Lawless Lands is now available! You can now get your very own Sagerovian Herding Hound companion in the game!

"New Companion - The Sagerovian Herding Hound!
New Companion Class- The Herding Hound! Smaller and faster than the Crossian Warhounds, these herding hounds are great companions for hunters and trackers!
Your Hound - Your Way! Name your new herding hound as you wish and train them as you see fit!"

Having a slightly different skill tree and varied base stats and aspects, the Sagerovian hounds are smaller and faster than the Crossian warhounds that are regularly found in the game.

The herding hounds were inspired by Australian cattle dogs and similar breeds.

This is a quick update to make room for the new Herding Hound DLC that's coming soon and to make some other quality of life improvements pertaining to the campaign modifier system.

Hey everyone!

So, the long-awaited controller/gamepad support has now been implemented. It's not perfect, but it works and I've done some extensive testing with my new Xbox-360/Xbox-One controller. For those of you who have asked for this, your requests have been heard!

IN ORDER TO TOGGLE BETWEEN KEYBOARD OR GAMEPAD, THERE IS A FILE IN THE GAME'S INSTALL DIRECTORY CALLED "gamepad.txt"!

TYPING "1" INTO THE FILE WILL ENABLE THE GAMEPAD AND DISABLE THE ADVANCED KEYBOARD SUPPORT.

TYPING "0" INTO THE FILE WILL ENABLE THE ADVANCED KEYBOARD SUPPORT AND DISABLE THE GAMEPAD.

BASED ON ENGINE LIMITATIONS, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I HAVE FOUND TO DO THIS.

YOU MAY NEED TO RUN THE GAME AS ADMINISTRATOR FOR THIS TO WORK.

-None needed!

Changes & Additions:
-Renamed "Settings" to "System" in the Menu
-Added "gamepad.txt" File to the Install Directory with a Default Setting of "0" (the gamepad is disabled and the advanced keyboard is enabled / setting to "1" will reverse the effect)
-Enabled the "F1" Key for use with Remapping Gamepad Keys (Only those settings should be used - the other settings are mostly overwritten by the game such as the screen settings and sound stuff)
-Added a Default Control Scheme for Gamepads

You should NOT need to start a new game.
