Lawless Lands Releases Friday!

Corrosive Supporters,

The time has finally come! Lawless Lands will charge out of Early Access this Friday!

Today, I'm finishing the game and will release the final update later on this evening! Tomorrow is for testing and finalization and then Friday the game will fully release!

8/5/20 Update 1.5.5

Lawless Lands,

Hey everyone!

So, the story with this update is that it's come early because there were some bugs which halted progress on the current main quest. This is to remedy that, and also add all the other new stuff I've been working on.

The final update/final release is still planned for mid-late August, but it's looking more like late August as I have been very busy with school - I'm graduating with my bachelor's soon and the work is piling up. Bear with me and please have some patience if I'm delayed a little.

This update was exported with me right in the middle of working on the final stages of the main quest. That said, if you play through it, you'll eventually come to a door which cannot be activated when it should obviously be usable. That is the end of what I have right now. You DON'T have to report that to me - that's intentional for the moment.

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed "Godly Gift" Quest Rewarding 2 of the same "unique" Item
-Fixed "Falling Apart" Side Quest causing a halt in the Main Story
-Fixed Condemn Skill not working properly

Changes & Additions:
-Family Heirloom Ring now provides +5% EXP
-Bone Broth now returns the Bowl after using it like Stew
-Progression Rewards for "The Keepers' Eye" Quest are now at Levels 15, 25, and 35 instead of 5, 15, and 35

-Increased possible Max Item Price by 10%
-Added "Bartering" Passive Skill for the Main Character
-Added "Assist" Technique Skill to all Characters by Default (Allows them to help an ally remove a net or web)
-"Independence" Skill now Costs 5 Mastery Points instead of just 3
-Orc Enemies now have a 2% Chance to cause Poisoned or Crippled depending on their Weapon
-Added "Heroism" Upgrade to the Character Record Item (Makes the character immune to being affected by Broken (Routed) in combat - this means you can still fight on when spirit is at 0, which you can normally not do)
-Spellcaster and Pious Companions (Korra, Ashmand, Almaric) now have 10%/5%/5% more Target Rate by Default

NOTE: You need to start a new game if you encounter any issues, especially with quests.

7/27/20 Update 1.5.4 (Chapters 3 and 4/Polish)

Hey everyone!

So, I decided to break the final update down into two large updates instead of one gigantic update. Originally, I wanted this content to go with the remaining work, but I found that some people are willing to go above and beyond and help me with bug testing, and that certainly helps me a lot. I can get content created, get bug reports and fix them, and continue on without being slowed down.

This update adds chapters 3 and 4 of the main story, a bunch of polish and bug fixes, and a lot more content as well. General improvements and so on.

The final chapter of the story and the rest of the content for final release will be available within the next few weeks. I'm working as efficiently as I possibly can by fixing problems as I go and also adding new stuff, so please be patient with me as it's a lot to do.

Another big reason I'm releasing this update now is because it patches a lot of issues that were present in the current build and I wanted them removed so people can enjoy what is currently available without the painful bugs.

All currently known issues are fixed - 100% of them. If you have any more issues, please do let me know so that I may fix them and deliver a better final product.

7/25/20 Development Status Update! (It's almost done! Woohoo!)

Hey everyone!

So, I wanted to stop by and just give everyone some information about how things are going and ask my current players for their assistance, as well. The game is just about finished so I hope you're all as excited as I am. It's been over 2 years that I've been working on this and I can say that the game is better because I listened to all of your feedback from my past projects and everything that people have said about this one.

First, the information.

I wrapped up chapters 3 & 4 of the story today and I will begin working on chapter 5 soon and then the release of the game into full release should still be mid to late August as planned. I have been working tirelessly, so there is a TON of new content. I've added over 15 new main quest sections that should add a lot of gameplay, but even better - replayability and choice. Most of the new main quest sections are driven by your decisions and can be done in several ways, so that is something to look forward to.

Second, the request.

If you have played the game and have ANY issues including bugs, errors, crashes, glitches, or ANYTHING ELSE you can think of, please - please - please post them on the bug reporting forum. I have fixed every known issue so far including even a few more minor issues that I found while testing, but I cannot find every single problem all by myself. Help me make the game even better by letting me know what needs my attention. I can only fix an issue if I know about it.

I will keep everyone updated as time goes on.
