Hey PokerStars VR players we’ve got a fresh update for you here with some BIG performance improvements especially for our Quest players. There’s still much more great stuff on the way this month to look out for :eyes:. including more content and performance updates and a big VRPT at the end of the month.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed Spin & Go and Sit-n-Go not starting when Quest player goes home during countdown or spin sequence
Fixed UI break when cycling between browser tabs while being prompted to enter a password to join a private table
Fixed Stars Cred readout not updating properly post purchase when in the lobby
Fixed memory leaks
Fixed a rare case when small blind, big blind players leave a table cause game breaks

Features:
Added item of the day pedestal to lobby. Approach this and open your UI to instantly view the item of the day in the store
Desktop mirror UI now shows current pot total
Added special event tracking module to UI. Access this by pressing a player’s avatar image in the table menu
Added ambassador voting. Access this by pressing a player’s avatar image in the table menu then go to event stats tab
Added rank readouts based on hands played to the stats UI modules. Current progress to the next rank can be seen under the player’s name
Macau VRPT winners graphic updated
When new items appear in the store for the first time “NEW ITEMS” will appear above the store button
Less wait time between hands in SNG and Spin & Go

Fixed bug that caused ui to sometimes unintentionally decouple when opening/closing the menu
Fixed UI bug that caused the recent purchase notification to not be visible when purchasing items at a table instead of the lobby

Fixed UI error message not showing when spin wheel response fail
Fixed more than one player teleport to same snap location when there is network latency
Improved CPU usage of lip sync on PC (should help audio distortion)

Features:
Added optional “index finger point” binding for openVR headsets lacking index finger capacitance. By default Vive wands use this instead of “index finger touch” binding

Improvements:
Balloon win effects only show up when All-in is called in Spin & Go
Improved finger tracking on index controllers. Results should be smoother and less likely to twitch at lower capacitance values
Various UI tweaks and fixes
Increased clarity in peripheral vision on Quest (decreased foveation level)
Memory improvements on Quest
When you spin the fidget spinner you can throw it as a ninja star
Polish on spinning tops so they spin longer and can clash against other tops.
