Eternal Edge Plus Update V 110014
Hi everyone! We're excited to release an update that has a ton of improvements to the game!
[h2]// Game Core Updates[/h2]
- Player Movement and Animation
- Cross's Character movement and animation has been completely revamped.
- Proper animation blending is now in use
- Movement is now Physics driven
- New Physics Interactions available, such as lifting Keys and bringing them to specific locations, and throwing objects
- Legacy Ability System has been removed (combat, etc.)
- Sprinting is now possible
- Implemented Ledge Grab Points
- Press "Confirm" at any time to sheathe your weapon if it is out (Default 'C' on Keyboard, 'A' on XBOX Controllers, 'X' on Playstation Controllers)
- Combat
- Player now has free movement while in combat
- While running, you can swing your sword to quickly destroy objects in your path
- Lock on now gives you full movement freedom, allowing you to strafe around your enemies as desired
- Sprinting and Dodging will reduce your stamina meter, which will recharge over time. This helps balance Shield/Dodging gameplay
- Revolver System
- Targeting has been re-programmed
- On Mouse and Keyboard, (default) press 'R' to pull out the Revolver or Cancel, and Left Click to fire
- On Controllers, (default) press Right Trigger to pull out the Revolver, and continue to press to fire. Press the Sword Attack button to Cancel (default 'X' for XBOX, and 'Square' for Playstation)
- Individual Ammo types have been updated to be more effective
- Bomb Tool System
- Bomb system has been updated to use the new Physics Interaction system
- Only one Bomb can be active at a time
- Press the assigned tool button to activate a Bomb, and press again or press 'Confirm' to Place or Throw
- When aiming with the Revolver, you can Hold the Left Trigger (Right Click on Mouse/Keyboard) to lock on to an active bomb
- Bombs can now be detonated with the Revolver
- Tool Quickswap
- Mouse/Keyboard: Hold 'R' to activate the Revolver Ammo Quickswap Menu, 'E' for Bombs, and '1' for Utilities. Use the Mouse to make a selection
- Controllers: Tools are now assigned a Quickswap menu on the Controller's Directional Pad. Hold down the assigned Directional Button to bring up the Quickswap Menu for that tool, and use the Right Stick to make a selection
- World Flow
- Tools are now unlocked in a more Linear fashion, making exploring the world less confusing
- New Revolver Doors and Bomb obstacles can now be found in the world

* CORE Mode is available by default, allowing you to experience Eternal Edge + in a traditional Adventure Game fashion.
* Various bug fixes included
* Note that loading a save file from versions below 110010 may spawn the character in odd locations. After saving in the new version, this issue should be resolved. All the mid-to-late game content still needs polishing. Please keep in mind that saves are not backward compatible.
