Alpha Patch 1.5.1

Hello beautiful people.
This patch focused heavily on performance and small improvements across the entire game.
As usual leave any feedback and suggestions in the steam forums and let’s jump right into the patch notes.
--Patch Notes--

• Main Menu Screen Changed
• Settings Screen Changed
• Character selection improved
• Exp system expanded (can now get xp from all forms of crafting and building, as well as
from resource gathering)
• Level Up sound and notification added
• Passive Skill System introduced (Stats increase based off player level)
• Roads and Bridges fixed
• Road textures changed
• Game quality Settings (low, medium, High) highly adjusted and changed
• Oxygen bar added
• Running to swimming transitions fixed
• Unarmed animation replaced
• Lighting adjusted for lamps
• Day and night cycle adjusted to adjust light intensity based of sun angle (now constantly
changes intensity instead of at set times)
• Player torch fixed (Brighter, and now moves with camera not player)
• Trader (Bikey Mike) can now buy items from the player
• Head-shot sound effect added
• Rednecks fixed to randomly walk around
• Towns now spawn rednecks
• Keybind screen updated to show item quick move shortcut
• Large Gum trees adjusted to prevent them from floating above the ground
• Fixed some bugs on Towns loading and unloading
• Beds now have two functions (Spawn point and you can sleep in them to advance the
clock)

Alpha Patch 1.5

Hello beautiful people.
Alpha patch 1.5 is now live. There are a lot of changes that came with this one. The main focus of this patch was to remove the zombies and push the game back towards the original format of having Rednecks as the main Human Enemies.
As usual I look forward to any feedback from you guys in the Forums or Discord.
--Patch Notes--

1. Water Animals are back
2. Zombies are completely gone
3. Rednecks are back (this time they have guns)
4. Store Trader introduced (Wandering trader)
5. Character Selection introduced (Players can now pick who they want to play as)
6. All clothing except for backpacks removed
7. Weapon damage rebalanced
8. Headshot damage multiplier introduced
9. Weapons now work underwater
10. Ai Spawning System further improved
11. Levelling up introduced
12. Human enemies scale to player level (the higher your level the harder the game)
13. Animals now spawn loot directly to inventory
14. Death bags will now sink in water (making it so you can loot them)
15. Rivers and mountains have been reshaped
16. Roads and bridges introduced
17. Walking trails introduced
18. The Day feature will now persist after death
19. Terrain textures tweaked
20. Foliage textures tweaked
21. Water textures tweaked
22. Loading Screens introduced

Achievements Patch 15/08/19


Hello Beautiful people.

This patch primarily focused on; Steam Achievements, a revamp of the in-game GUI and further integrating the Steam SDK. So, with that being said let’s jump straight into the patch notes. As usual stay beautiful people and I look forward to any feedback or suggestions in the Steam Forums.

14 new Steam achievements added.
In Game GUI revamp.
Split stack weight bug fixed.
Steam SDK further integrated.
Player Steam Name now added to the character window.

Alpha Patch 1.4

Hello Beautiful people. Alpha patch 1.4 is now live. This patch primarily focused on Ai fixes and a new spawning mechanic.
I am going to just jump into the patch notes. And as usual stay beautiful and I look forward to your feedback and suggestions in the forums.

--Patch Notes—

All animal AI code rewritten.
All zombie code rewritten.
Blood effects added to all animals and zombies.
Hurt sounds and animations added to zombies.
Spawning system completely redesigned from scratch. (It now follows the player and does all kinds of checks for; distance to player on spawn, enemy variety, Enemy density, Distance from player to de-spawn enemy) The new system will guarantee that you will always have a set amount of AI around and a good variety of enemies.
Wave Spawn Mechanic (There is a new mechanic for night time. Zombies will spawn and swarm your location until the morning)
Cheval de fries added (spiked barricade). This is a new defense item to help you stay alive at night.
Craftables ground bug fixed. (Crafted items can now once again be correctly placed on the ground). To fix this one I had to disable something that footstep sounds relied on. Don’t worry I will bring them back. I just need to change how they work.
Day and night cycle has now been added to the save system.
In game clock added.
Days counter added. (This does not tell you what in game day it is. Instead it tells you how many days you survive in between dying)
Hurt sounds for the player fixed. (The player will now make a sound when taking any kind of damage regardless of source. This means when you run out of hunger and thirst you will be able to tell you are dying)
Punching animation replaced.
Distance fog is now gone.
Foliage render distance increased.
Lighting adjusted.
Snakes now poison you.
