Greetings to our Combat Arms Rangers!
This is the development team leader of Combat Arms: Reloaded.
It is only a few days left until the close of 2020 and most areas of the world are still struggling with the effects of the CoVID-19 pandemic. 2020 wasn't kind year for everyone and we hope that our has shared some form of relief to our players. In behalf of our entire team, I can't thank you enough for the continued support for Combat Arms: Reloaded throughout these trying times.
To wrap up 2020 in a happy and uplifting note, let's begin our developer's briefing.
Last November 25th, The Nightmare Match (Boss Match) debuted in its BETA version after some serious development process. As it is still in the BETA phase, we are continuously making adjustments and tweaks that will improve the overall playthrough experience for this mode.
We know that there are certain aspects of the game mode that felt incomplete however, the BETA launch is an effort to fulfill a promise to our player base to deliver a different twist in the current Combat Arms experience.
I do apologize that since the Nightmare Mode is still in its BETA Phase, we are still in the period of collecting and comparing all the data from those that played Nightmare in order for us to address concerns such as bugs and difficultly adjustments. We encourage our players to try out and play the Nightmare Mode more frequently as each match played, regardless of the result, will help in improving the gaming experience.
I think that the BETA Phase is necessary to provide a fantastic opportunity for everyone interested or otherwise curious about the newly added feature. We are doing our very best complete the BETA phase and fully release Nightmare mode.
I'm sorry for several inconveniences that had been put in place in order to address issues such as bug fixes and difficulty adjustments.
On our December 1 Update, we've delivered on our promise to add more quality of life improvements to Combat Arms: Reloaded in the form of UI changes incorporating Quick Play as well as the Daily Quest button which have been added to the Home Screen.
These quality of life improvements are aimed to lessen idle time and increase playtime. Firstly, we added very intuitive UI changes in accessing Quick Play for both Daily Quests and Event Modes. Moreover, we've made some Daily Quest Improvements which expanded the variety of available daily quests as well as the ability to progress more missions simultaneously.
The update also includes our grand Christmas celebration event scheduled to go for 25 days that started last December 1st and is to close on December 25th. The season is all about sharing and giving, so we've dropped in some generous treat for all our players.
- Get rewards worth 5000 GC from the Special EXP Accumulation Event.
- Wear your Christmas Items and gather rare metal from doing all sorts of activities in-game.
- From 100% up to 300% EXP and GP Boosts for all 25-days of the Event.
- The season's fashion pick is Santa hats now worn not only by NPCs but the Fireteam Zombies as well.
In order to top off every news and recap we've done so far; we are proud to announce that we are currently in development of the next Nightmare match map which hopefully is ready for early access by the end of January 2021.
As previously mentioned, we couldn't have done it past this troubling year without your kind and continued support. We are doing our very best to further improve the game experience and introduce more interesting content not just for next year but for the coming years. ^^
