Steam Next Fest is starting this Monday, so we have great news!

We are surprised at how much positive feedback we get from You on our discussion section! Thank You! Because of your feedback, we could improve the game even more before the full Release!

The Demo has now over 4000 downloads! Thank You for that we are waiting for further remarks and opinions! :) This is just a starting point as we are right before Steam Fest! Hige festival of game demos on Steam.

In the new version of the demo, we improved and fixed some elements basing on Your feedback!

The Demo is now also available On MacOS!


[h3]The End of The Sun Demo ver 30.01.2023. Change list:[/h3]

FIXES:

• Fixed problem with volume light on mac Ventura 13! Because of that, the game was unplayable on that macOS version. Now everything is working correctly. Read more here
  
  
• Fixed the shaky (up and down) player camera movements when using vsync. Read More Here.
  
  
• Fixed problem with clouds taking too much space at a special level when clouds quality was set on high or highest.
  
  
• Fixed problem with the screen resolution option. It wasn't saved between the main menu and the gameplay (That could make confusion about performance.)
  
  
• Fixed the rare problem of locking the character camera in a low position when investigating an object during a mission state change.
  
  
• Fixed the rare problem of the rainbow video effect when using investigate object very often.
  
  

IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW OPTIONS:

• Added an "invert Mouse Y-axis" option - It's now together with the invert gamepad option in the controls menu.
  
  
• Added alternative controls - You could control movements with arrows on the keyboard as an alternative for WSAD (If You would like to see other configurations let us know, we are considering adding the option of key bindings to the full version if there will be more requests about it)
  
  
• Minimum mouse/gamepad sensitivity could be now set to 0.1 (earlier minimum was 0.5)
  
  
• Some localizations and text fixes.
  
  
• Credits list update.

MacOS Version of the demo NOW AVAILABLE:
The game should have a good performance on macs with Intel processors. For M1/M2 processors for now the game is emulated from intel game version processors. (as for many games on Steam) We will try to provide dedicated apple silicon (M1/M2) compilation soon.

Hello folks!

We would like to share with You one of the most important pieces of information during our 5-year-long development process.

[h3]Free demo Release![/h3]

We are extremely happy to announce that The End of the Sun free demo version will be released on steam on the 24th of January, 2023! :)

The demo will contain a small part of the full game but as we tested, it still has 50-60 minutes of gameplay. (it's quite long for a demo, some small fully released indie games very often have like 1 hour of gameplay ) The Demo will also be a part of the Steam Next Festival 2023 February edition. The Demo will include English and Polish full audio language versions. The full version of the game will be available in 9 languages of course.



We have been working on the demo the whole last month (12h per day and sometimes even more. / A demo of the open-world game is a hard thing to prepare.) It'll be something really worth checking out. It'll contain an improved mission that You could watch on our gameplay video + another unrevealed mission.

[h3]Do you want to become the Demo tester?[/h3]

The demo is ready, we just make the final closed tests and fixes. After the new year, we will be looking for testers. Contact us at [email protected] if you want to take a part in tests! (We are looking for Linux and mac testers too!)
