The first wave of emotions has settled! We’ve finally made it to the long-awaited release! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all the warm and positive feedback on the game. The way you’re experiencing it is a dream come true for us as developers—after nearly eight years of dedication, seeing your reactions makes it all worthwhile.

We’re especially happy that you’re not encountering major bugs—polishing the game was a big priority for us. We also love reading your thoughts on the story! Feel free to reach out here on the Steam forum or via email—we read every message with great joy.

Moreover, we wanted to let you know that Steam Cloud Save, which many of you have requested, is now available!



But our work isn’t done yet! Some of you have suggested additional settings and small tweaks. We’re open to them, and after a short break—because, you know, we need to catch our breath after these eight years—we’ll be back to work!

We want to let you know about an important decision we've made: the current demo of The End of The Sun has been deactivated from Steam.

Why did we decide to do this?

The demo available on Steam is now over two years old. That’s quite a long time, and during this period, the game has evolved significantly. We feel that the current demo no longer represents the true quality or experience of the game. As its creators, we believe it falls short of the standard we want to deliver—especially when compared to the full version of the game, which will be available in just a few days!

For two years, you’ve had the chance to explore the demo and get a glimpse of what the game has to offer. In the future, we may create a brand-new demo that better showcases the current state of The End of The Sun. However, as a two-person development team, we simply don’t have the resources to do that right now. Our priority is putting the finishing touches on the full game to ensure it’s the best experience it can be.
