Update 1.05 Notes

Fixes:

1. Fixed sparring result fighter name being incorrect.
2. Fixed fight stats for round 1 not being correctly displayed.
3. Fixed fight contracts occasionally not matching correct event.


Quality of Life / Gameplay changes:
1. On fighter screen replaced perk with rank.
2. Added fast forward buttons when watching fights.
3. Rounded fighter skills on profile screen.
4. Lowered membership income slightly


Working on a feature I think you guys will like a lot, shouldn't take too long to put in place!

Getting even more hype for UFC 229, who ya got in the main event?

Update 1.04 Notes

(As always new games tend to benefit the most from fixes)

Fixes:

1. Training screen displays initial fighter status / fatigue properly.
2. Injury description displays now with the status.
3. Fixed matchmaking where wrong fighter could be chosen in certain circumstances.
4. Fixed mail from recruiting fighters not showing up.
5. Fixed bug where watching fight could cause judging to work incorrectly.
6. Fixed method/round on event result screen bug.
7. Fixed possible glitch with guillotine submission.

Quality of Life / Gameplay changes:

1. Chance of injury has been adjusted and properly now goes up as fatigue does.

More updates are on the way (and maybe a feature or two!)

Update 1.03 Notes

(New game necessary due to database changes unless you use the workaround below)

Fixes:

1. Fixed null fight history dates.
2. Fixed duplicate fight history entries under certain conditions.
3. Fixed possible fighter profile crash under certain conditions.

Quality of Life / Gameplay changes:

1. Rounded fighter characteristic stats in profiles.
2. Mail now automatically selects the first message available instead of going blank after accepting/denying offers etc.
3. Fighter names now match their nationalities.
4. Fullscreen mode has been added to the options menu.
5. Exit buttons added to side navigation menu and main menu screen.

Workaround if you want to keep your current game:
If you do not know how or where to find the database go here: http://mmasimulator.net/how-to-edit-the-database/

Then run the following query:

ALTER TABLE system
ADD fullscreen INTEGER(1) DEFAULT(0)

More updates are on the way to make MMA Simulator the best it can be!

Version 1.02 Notes

Version 1.02 has been released! Here's what's new:

Fixes:

1. On fighter creation skills and characteristics no longer lose their values.
2. Achievements now work.

Quality of Life / Gameplay changes:

1. Fighters in your own gym will not be matched against each other.
2. Skills of the selected fighter now display on the training screen.
3. Added more tooltips on training screen.
4. Added starting money option on new game creation.
5. Added main menu button in options menu for faster game switching.

I'm still working hard to improve the game to where it should have been on release.

Patch 1.01 Progress

Here's the list of current fixes I have uploaded to version 1.01 since launch - all of these are currently in the game after you update.

Make sure you start a new game to get the benefit of these fixes!

Release build 1.01

Fixes:

1. Fixed crash on fighter history screen. (Conversion from old engine issue)
2. Fixed fighter heights being 5'6 or 6'7 in their profiles.
3. Fixed possible event skip if event generated on wrong date.
4. Fixed fighters not receiving fighter contracts on new events. (This will require further attention. Almost 100% right, but wanted to get this in as this was the biggest issue)


Quality of Life / Gameplay changes:

1. Removed home button (redundant, went to gym screen)
2. Added optional number of fighters to choose from on new game creation.
3. Added shortcut to guide on new game creation.
4. Put a cap of 100 on fighter fatigue
5. Increased initial contract duration of fighters created in new games.
6. Made the rank screen listing Win-Loss-Draw to match fighter profiles.
7. Events are now generated monthly - not every 3 months.
8. Heavily weighted the event generation to prefer your fighters rather than CPU fighters. (This will need to be balanced further as well)

TO DO:

1. Steam achievements have been re-enabled, but do not seem to be working.
2. Add more tool tips.
3. Add fighter skill levels to training screen to make it easier to tell which skills need training.
4. Improve fighter creation process.
5. More options on new games.

I am continuing to work on this version as much as I can and not only fix the bugs which is my #1 priority, but also improve the game.
