Hotfix 1.5.1 is here! Crashing fix, translation improvements, and more!

It’s good to see you again, detectives!

With Patch 1.5, we have implemented many things. Unfortunately, some new issues sneaked into the game. Finally, the new patch arrived, and we can wave goodbye to the recent crash issues all of you experienced; sorry for keeping you waiting! We fixed especially Turkish and Korean translations. Once again, thank you for keeping us reporting all the bugs throughout Steam and our Discord channel. We still appreciate your support. Among all the minor bug fixes we also increase the performance on slower PCs. Please let us know if you see an improvement.

Complete changelog:

- General improvements to the Turkish and Korean translations, including adding missing lines and formatting fixes
- Fixed a crash that could occur during the transition to another level, for example, when entering Tree of Knowing in Knight's Code
- Apartment: extended the length of tracks played on the Jukebox
- Apartment: the playing song's status should now update correctly after loading a save file
- Fixed a crash related to codex entries with unavailable links
- Performance on lower-end PCs was slightly improved
- Low City: fixed an issue with Robot Rick being invisible on lower-end PCs
- Knight's Code: the Player's Character won't be blocked after being reprimanded by "Honey Guide" anymore

We appreciate your patience and support! Bear with us, because we still didn’t say the last word regarding post-launch support. As always, feel free to join our Discord channel for further details.

This wouldn't be possible without all of you; the feedback you have provided us with throughout the past months that helped us to improve the game
Thank you in advance 😁

Gamedec is -40% and LudoNarraCon 2022 is here!

Detectives!

LudoNarraCon is primarily an event putting more light on the narrative-driven games; we are delighted that Gamedec is participating in this celebration
Decision-making is essential in Gamedec; it's the game's core; we like to call it a "fluid branching." Two years ago, one of our programmers - Przemysław Osipiuk, wrote an article about this topic; if you're interested in how the process looked behind the curtains, we highly encourage you to check it out here!

Gamedec is now 40% off, a historically lowest price on Steam since the premiere; it's a perfect opportunity to check it out and visit a couple of virtual worlds to solve crimes :fire:

Recently we have released a patch 1.5, which contains a lot of changes and improvements:

Check the full changelog here :)

We strongly encourage you to participate in the LudoNarraCon as it's not just about the discounts! There will be twelve live panels and four fireside chats on topics related to narrative games
Check the event schedule at this link.

See you soon!

Gamedec Team

Patch 1.5 Available Now!
Detectives!
Gamedec visits Turkey and Korea! You have asked for it a lot; the biggest thread on our steam discussions is associated with a Turkish localization request; we couldn’t ignore that. Therefore the day has come; Gamedec has Turkish and Korean subtitles now!

Of course, that’s not all that we have prepared for you in this patch; what you can expect is long waited Axis Mundi re-design; many of you have provided us with your feedback regarding that location in the reviews and other discussion threads. We have realized that Axis, which is the ending and story climax, could be better, so we had to make some improvements here :fire:

It’s not everything; we have partial voice-overs, cinematic subtitles, more bug fixes; you can find a Jukebox in the Gamedec’s apartment, so now you can solve cases while listening to the whole playlist of truly wonderful tracks made by Marcin Przybyłowicz and the orchestra!

Turkish language when?

They say "to travel is to live." We would rather say, "to play is to travel." So, let me take you on a journey. Our first stop is in Turkey.

Those of you who have followed the project since its first announcement, right before the Kickstarter campaign, know that a community-driven development was crucial to us. Due to the enormous number of requests for Turkish language implementation, we decided to add it to the game.
It's worth noting that the Gamedec Steam forum topic about the Turkish language is still the most discussed thread, with many different points of view from our Turkish community. Let's dive into it:

WE LOVE YOU!

And yes, in the next update Turkish language will be added. We realize it took some time, and many of you may have felt like this:

BUT NOT ANYMORE!

So, Gamedec visited Turkey and solved a couple of cases in their virtualias; now it's time for another travel. This time we will stop in Korea. It was obvious that we should add the Korean language to the game. We love K-pop. W love K-dramas. You probably never figured it out, but one of the levels is actually a tribute to Korea. I mean, K-night's Code. I bet you didn't know that. Gamedec developers team probably too

When our tour ends, the guide voices his goodbyes.

WAIT! Did somebody say "voice"? Let me check the patch notes. Voice. Aha! Partial voiceovers will be added in the next patch.

We hope you enjoyed the trip, which was a foretaste of what awaits you in two weeks. Gamedec, out.
