Hello people,

So shortly before Christmas it's time for the next update. It contains further improvements, bug fixes and the first part for a leaderboard system. All changes are noted below.

Next up are leaderboards. With this update, the necessary information for this is already collected. The only thing missing is the representation in the game.

This will not be the only update in 2020. We want to continue improving the game to be one of the best Christmas games on Steam ;) Currently there are some ideas that we are considering to bring into the game. So if you have any feedback or found other bugs in the game, join us in the Steam forum!

Hello people,

It's time for the next update this year! This time there are some improvements and bug fixes. Here are three things I would like to point out.

Steam Achievements
In the last update, achievements came into the game. However, players who made progress before the update did not get any steam achievements for there progress. That changes with this update. If you start the game now, you will get all achievements for the progress you made before the last update.

Gingerbread Man on Starter Mode
So far, the Gingerbread Man had no real use in Starter Mode. Now he has a function depending on the mode:

• In Classic mode you get a life if you collect one.
  
• In Starter mode the counter that counts how many times you dropped is deducted by 3. This way it has influence on the final score.
  

Cutscene Control
Now you can set if and how often you want to see the cutscenes. You can adjust this in the options.

The time of the year has come again! It is Christmas time.
To celebrate this, there is the big Season 2019 update today. It contains new content, improvements and bug fixes. All changes are noted below.

Starter Mode
In order to better get into the game, there is now a starter mode. In contrast to the classic mode, the checkpoints work differently and you have unlimited life. So if you're not so trained in the game, you'll lose less of your level progress if you make mistakes. Also the levels are a bit easier on starter mode. For some players the game was too frustrating. That shouldn't be a problem anymore!

Steam Achievements
There are Steam Achievements in the game now. So you can keep a good eye on your progress and compete with your friends. Some are really a challenge, so try it out ;)
New ones will be added in the near future.

Level Enhancements & Visual Improvements
Based on feedback all levels have been revised to improve the overall playing experience. In addition, the design of e.g. caves has been reworked to make them look better. There are also a few general visual improvements in the UI and a few other things, like better looking snow particles.

Performance Improvements
Engine update and some optimizations provide a better performance. Also there will be more improvements in the near future!

Hopefully you have succeeded in saving Christmas this year!

We are now at the end of this year's season and hopefully you had a nice Christmas time! Almost a month has passed since release and a lot has happened. Based on received feedback, things have been changed to improve the overall playing experience. But it would be really nice to listen to more opinions! If you liked the game please let hear from you! You can best support the game by writing a review at Steam. If you are unhappy with the game, it would be great to talk to you about it in the Steam forum. Constructive criticism or suggestions are always welcome, because the game should be enjoyed by as many people as possible!

The main focus will be on improving the game experience until the next season. So the main priority is to bring the base of the game into a even better state to expand it even further in the near future.
It seems Santa will need your help more often in the next few years! ;-)
