Unify your clan by showing pride in the most common way - with pictures and colors! New work stations will let you customize the emblem for your clan!

Coffers!

Find treasure, bring it home, and display it at your base! Place any treasure placeables within the coffers radius to contribute to your personal coffer and the clan coffer totals. Treasures can also be placed directly in the chest next to the Treasurer NPC.

Exiles of the Public Beta Test lands!

We’re readying our gears for the next Chapter of Age of Sorcery. Chapter 3 is right around the corner so we’re releasing the current beta publicly so you can have an early look at what’s coming!

Chapter 3 will introduce a new mechanic we hope you get to love as much as we did creating it: Golem Shaping! Gather different parts and raise your golem in the new workbenches. Depending on which parts you use, you will be able to raise guardian golems that will follow you in your quests, or utility golems that will gather resources for you on demand! Take it one step further with the coatings to further customize your creations! Chapter 3 will also introduce a new encounter! A moon eclipse is looming over the nightime skies. Face Kurak and all the dark forces protecting him in his lair for rewards that will be worth your time!

Another big addition we are adding in Chapter 3 is a complete overhaul of the Journey System. We went back to the drawing board and redesigned the system from the ground up. New objectives, more meaningful paths, new UI, and even rewards to make your user Journey all the more meaningful and satisfying!

That’s not all included in this update: many new fixes to known issues, stability improvements as well as a new Battle Pass track (including mannequins!) will come bundled in once we release this update on all platforms in the near future. Until then, if you choose to give this beta a try, let us know your feedback!

Thank you for the continued support for Conan Exiles, and stay safe!

Greetings, Exiles of the Testlive Public Beta Test lands!

We’ve been working on a patch to address several performance and stability issues reported over the past weeks, as well as a bunch of other general issues.

Since this is a pretty hefty patch with some important fixes, we wanted to release it first on the Public Beta Test branch of the game to gather some feedback before it goes live on all platforms.

If you give this patch a try and experience any noticeable issues, do please send us your feedback here in the forums!

Thank you for your support and here’s to a smashing 2023!
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING MODS
Please remember that updates can mess with the functionality of your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed. For the purposes of testing, we recommend not using any mods when playing on Public Beta Test.

 • Fixed a number of crashing and stability issues.
 • Optimized loading times especially on lesser hardware and old gen consoles. This should result in shorter loading times in some cases.
 • Addressed an issue that could cause abnormally long loading times after respawning.
 • Fixed an issue that caused framerate to drop when placing Illusionist Mirrors.
 • Improved performance when opening inventory boxes or opening crafting stations. This should be most noticeable on last-gen consoles.
 • Spawning undead via the Admin panel should no longer crash the game, but it will still bother the necromancer union.
 • Optimized memory usage of spells.
 • Implemented optimization changes which should result in lesser memory usage and derived performance problems when being near NPCs and fighting.
 • Improved memory usage when receiving resources into the inventory.
 • Implemented a system that will prioritize loading of models based on whether they are visible or occluded by building pieces or placeables. This should improve performance and game stability in busy areas by avoiding out of memory crashes.
 • Removed some outdated code lines and deprecated systems to clean up the game code.
 • Updated the version of BattlEye.
 • Some Wallpaints would be partially hidden when used on certain walls. This has now been fixed.
 • Moving placeables while you’re on them should no longer move your character, crushing all Aladdin wannabes in the Exiled Lands.
 • Added the recipe for sorcerous pet food to the Ophidian Magi Cat feat.
 • Grey Foxes can now be damaged. But at what cost.
 • Shield attacks while holding a sword should no longer slide past the target without inflicting damage.
 • Yetis are now able to fight again.
 • Tweaked the backend for Events with some optimizations and checks to improve functionality and reliability.
 • Your character will now be invulnerable while in a loading screen and three seconds after exiting a loading screen.
 • “Allow building everywhere” server setting now also lets you place thralls in otherwise restricted areas.
 • When looting or harvesting many items of the same kind, the UI should now group up notifications to prevent UI clutter.
 • Fixed an issue that caused many enemies and animals to show fully or partially invisible on consoles.
 • Fixed a number of small visual imperfections on a few armor sets.
 • Fixed an issue that caused not being able to jump after canceling climbing if you had the perk Extended Leap.
 • “Bounty Hunting: Turn in a head and body” challenge progress is no longer reset upon rejoining the session without claiming the reward.
 • New sheathing animations!
 • Fixed an issue with Shield floating momentarily when unequipping it while holding an 1h spear or 1h axe.
 • Fixed issue with 2h sword equip animation playing at low frames per second.
 • Icons in the construction UI and the admin panel should now load faster.
 • Updated the description for The Gilt, The Craft and The Lie trophy on the Japanese version to match its current requirements.

 • Addressed mixed up reward names and descriptions for the Battle Pass level 27 & 38 rewards.

 • Adjusted the rewards and costs for the new Headhunting event.
 • Fixed an issue that could cause Sorcery knowledge to be lost after drinking a Yellow Lotus Potion.

Exiles of the Testive Lands!

We hope you’ve had a great time with Age of Sorcery so far, sinking your teeth deep into all the new systems introduced in the last update and finding out the powers within Sorcery. Today we’re letting you have an early look at what’s coming with Chapter 2, where we introduce a new Encounter type (psst, Events are now called Encounters!), Head Hunting!

You can now find head hunter contracts where you will have to hunt down nefarious Sorcerers hidden in the lands. It will be your choice to bring them back dead or alive! With this new Encounter we are also adding a new special encounter, Witch Hunter. Explore the lands to find more about it! This update will also introduce a new Battle Pass revolving this mechanic, with new challenges and rewards, as well as a new batch of items for the Bazaar.

Along with that, we are also starting our pet companion rebalance. This will be the first step in revising pets moving forward, with the intention of bringing them up to a level where they can be at a similar level to other followers. There will be more changes to come in future patches, so keep an eye out!

And of course, with this new update we are releasing a bevy of bug fixes to reported issues, including fixes to the most common crashes, fixes to texture and invisible issues reported with the release of Age of Sorcery and much more.

If you decide to give this Testlive update a try, help us out ensuring a smoother launch by sending us any feedback and reporting any issues you may find while playing this early build.
