What is Tailor Tales Plus?
Tailor Tales Plus unlocks the adult content of the game, as well as any side stories for each character. The epilogue for each Plus character will have a scene containing sexual content, including the final CG for them. Some Plus characters have sexual content throughout the chapters, these are marked as "plus" in the chapter selection. As an extra perk, you can skip chapter requirements for ALL characters (even those you do not have the DLC for), though you can always turn this back on if you enjoy a challenge.

What about other characters?
Plus DLC for other characters such as James, Gray and Aiden will be released on another date in the future.

In an alternate world where people have superpowers, Joselina (you) has one of her own. However, instead of fighting crime, she uses it to create superhero suits for the actual superheroes. One day during an attack on the city, a superhero crash lands in front of her boutique and she saves him.

…But he isn’t a hero – he’s a villain.



James has a unique perk where your name gets voiced if it belongs to one of the 200 names on this list, including the default name.



Let the update run its course, then load your manual save file. You can access James' route by clicking the cogwheel for Settings, click Characters and select James. Here you can start a new route.


James, just like any other character, requires important clients to be finished for specific chapters. If you need help figuring those out, you can view his walkthrough below:

The last two CGs for James are Plus content only, so free users are not able to unlock those last two CGs. James' Plus will be available as DLC in the future, no ETA yet.



You may notice a stream of achievements being unlocked once you load the game. Tailor Tales now has in-game achievements that grant you an outfit. You can wear these by going to Outfits and finding them in the appropriate categories. To view your achievements, click the Collection icon in the settings.


The upcoming two routes, Gray and Aiden, are currently in development. You can try out their first chapter by rereading them in their chapter selection for a preview! Their release dates are set sometime 2022.




As voted by Patrons, the 7th route will be Eeyok Dougenis. Set in the 18th century, Eeyok's route deals with high society, magic and time traveling. Tailor Tales features routes with unique stories and settings, and Eeyok's route isn't any different.


In the event you run into an error, such as a missing file, please validate your files before doing anything else. Sometimes the update doesn't complete 100% and Steam misses a file. You can fix this by finding Tailor Tales in your Steam library, right clicking it and selecting properties. Then go to the local files tab, and select "Verify integrity of game files" to let Steam fix any missing files.


Please note Tailor Tales does NOT support cloud saving, so reinstalling the game does mean you will lose your progress.

Any bugs can be reported in the Steam thread, or on Discord. Discord is the fasted way of getting help.

James is finally arriving to Steam on July 18, 2021!

James is unlike the other routes in Tailor Tales, being twice as long and focusing on fantasy elements this time around. Each route in Tailor Tales is unique, which is definitely represented with James. It will take roughly 10 to 12 hours to complete his route.

Route synopsis

A small update! This should render your current quick save file useless, so please make sure you load your manual save file when starting the game. You can always make a new quick save!

What's been changed:
- Deleting a piece of clothing no longer deletes the image on your hard drive, preventing any future issues with missing clothing files.
- A warning will now display when attempting to load from a quick save file that is older than your manual save (this is your main save!), meaning you might lose progress if you continue to play from your quick save file.
- Neil's gotten a new voice actor and his lines have been added, replacing the old VA!

And that's it for the update!

As for an update on James' route progress, I would estimate his script is about 85% finished, and playable chapters are currently sitting at 20 out of 28. Development should be finished around December or early 2021, with an actual update being pushed out in mid 2021 with his completed route.

This is a small update to fix the achievements for the ending titles (Dominatrix, Playful, Patient, Angelic) not unlocking.

Players who have completed a character route and gotten their achievements, but never got the above named achievement(s), they will have to manually unlock any achievements they may have missed out on.

Please go to your main menu and click the cogwheel to open the settings. Click the gift button and enter the password "achievement" to unlock the achievements you got on Steam! This will only grant you the achievements you have legitimately unlocked, so it is not a cheat code of some sorts :)

Sorry for the inconvenience! Steam achievements are an uphill battle.
