Sunday Skirmish - 26th February

Continuing our Sunday Skirmish events with new map changes, bug fixes and quality of life changes.

[h3]This event[/h3]
This event is a continuation of our "Sunday Skirmish" series at the same time every fortnight. As always we are keen to get your feedback either in the comments here on Steam or on our discord community.

You can also optionally sign-up at discord.gg/vanguardww2 in the #events channel where you can also sign up for notifications of future events and get a 30 minute reminder before the event starts.

Note: This event will run on Sunday 26th February from 7:00PM UTC to 8:30PM UTC. The event time on the Steam page should be displayed in your local time

[h4]How to I do Join?[/h4]
This event will be on the latest pre-release beta of the upcoming "REINFORCED" Update on the '0.6-beta' branch.

You can change branch by right-clicking the game in your library, selecting properties, opening the betas tab and selecting 0.6-beta from the dropdown menu.

[h4]Warning: If you are switching from the public to beta branch it is a large update of 9.7GB as we have made a huge number of cumulative changes which affect the whole game.[/h4]

Build 484: Patch Notes

This is a minor bug fixing update while we focus on new upcoming features

[h3]Game Tip:[/h3]
You can see how many stages of an objective capture are complete on the map (default key: M)

[h3]HIGHLIGHTED CHANGE[/h3]
This update adds a new game menu when you press ESC whilst playing the game, making it easier to find the settings, disconnect and quit options. Previously ESC would open the kit selection screen, which was also opened by pressing ENTER.

The kit selection screen is now only opened by pressing ENTER.

[h3]SUMMARY OF CHANGES:[/h3]
  • Added: New game menu (press ESC)
  • Fixed: Objective capture through wall on Merville Battery
  • Fixed: Running sound effect whilst holding a grenade
  • Fixed: UI Scaling issue when using resolutions less than 1080px high

[h3]KNOWN ISSUES[/h3]
  • Weapon can fire when clicking items in the new game menu
  • Cursor sometimes get stuck on screen. ALT+ENTER can fix this issue for some users.
  • Weapons and hands are temporarily invisible when first entering a map after a major update or install. Please be patient while the caching completes.
  • Cursor and icons can "ghost" over the screen after playing for some time. We are actively investigating this bug. Please let us know if it happens with as much detail as possible
