Among Us Version Number Changes

Hiya Crewmates!

Small heads up that starting with the next update, we'll be changing how we display the version number for Among Us. We thought it'd be fun to explain what the numbers mean but it you don't care then uh... just go ahead and exit the page.

Let's use the picture below as a reference:

The first number (blue box) increases whenever we have major updates. Think updated systems like matchmaking, or content like new maps or roles!
The second number (red box) increases when we have smaller updates. This includes things like bug fixes or cosmetic drops.
The third number in the series (yellow box) will increase if we deploy hotfixes or have platform specific changes.

As an example, if we have bug fixes after this update the version number would turn into 16.1.0. Then if we deployed a hotfix, the number would update to 16.1.1.

And there you have it. Now the only thing you have to worry about with the upcoming updates is your alibi!

Among Us 2022 Depreciation

Greetings, Crewmates!

As of today, we will no longer be supporting any 2022 versions of Among Us. If you see "v2022" on the top left of the main menu, you will be affected. Please update your game to v2024.11.26 as soon as possible so you can keep slinging false accusations playing!

We plan to keep expanding Among Us with features, roles, bug updates, improved security, etc. and getting Crewmates on similar versions helps with that development. As we keep completing tasks, eventually 2023 versions will have to be depreciated too but don't worry! We're not quite there yet. We'll keep you informed when that time comes.

Thanks for understanding and sticking with us no matter which version you've been playing on.

Among Us 3D release date estimate, trailers, and latest news

When is the Among Us 3D release date? While it wasn't the first social deduction game, Among Us brought the genre to a global scale when it found viral success in 2020, two years after it initially launched. In addition to adding the word 'sus' to all our daily vocabularies, developer Innersloth is now targeting internet domination once more with Among Us 3D.

Among Us is all about immersion, putting yourself in the shoes and, most importantly, the mindset of Among Us imposter or crewmate. It's the same game as before, hiding in the same Among Us vents, completing the same tasks, except you're looking at it through the eyes of a bean. Innersloth announce Among Us 3D by kicking Among Us VR into a crusher

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Airship library, Innersloth and Schell Games have announced a 3D version of popular social stealth sim Among Us. Or at least, they have taken the existing VR version and made it non-VR. It's a stab in the back for the Meta Questers, perhaps, but it's great news for me, a person who has only ever owned the launch model of the PS4's VR headset, and is currently using its box as a draught excluder.
