MIRA HQ Launched!

MIRA is ready to play! We created a new trailer to show it off!

Features
  • A tightly packed headquarters roughly the size of The Skeld.
  • 8 new tasks!

It will cost 4 USD on Android, iOS and Steam, but there will be occasional free weekends on a schedule to be determined. Players in local mode can play the new map as long as the host owns it, while each player needs to purchase it separately to join or create games in online or freeplay modes.

Special Note:
If you purchase the map in Steam outside of the in-game store, you'll need to open the in-game store to "recover" the purchase. Otherwise the game doesn't know you've purchased the map!

Also in this version
Partial Portuguese and Spanish translations!
  • They're pretty complete, but we know we've missed some spots. If something looks wrong or isn't translated, let us know!
Buff: Impostors can now fix their own sabotages!
Lots of fixes and improved connectivity!

New Map Coming 8/8/2019!



Sorry we haven't been very good about sharing information through Steam, but we're happy to announce that we are working on two new maps!

The new MIRA Headquarters map (outlined above) is set to release in under two weeks! The second doesn't have a name or release date yet, but PuffballsUnited has been streaming all work on it, so you can watch that here: https://www.twitch.tv/puffballs_united/videos

Each new map comes with some new tasks and strategies and will cost 4 USD. Each map takes months to create, so we're really excited and hope you all like them!

New Colors and More in 2019.4.24

New Colors: Cyan and Lime

We spent a little extra time on this update to add some extra things we've been interested in for a while now. Many people have noticed the wallet picture with Cyan, who was removed before we released the game. But we brought them back with a new color Lime! Green might have gotten a little darker as well. :)



Stats Tracking

We also thought players might be interested in game stats. So you can find that on the main menu now. This is kind of a work in progress, we'll be listening to feedback on stats to add or remove.

In-Game Kicks and Bans

We're removing them. We get consistent complaints about hosts abusing kick/ban during games because they find the impostor or are discovered as impostor and don't want to lose. We tried reducing the number of kicks per game, but it usually only takes one to ruin a game, so this is the next step. Hosts will still be able to kick and ban in the lobby ship, but once the game starts, they will not be allowed. We'll be keeping a close eye on this to see how it goes.

Bug fixes

What would an update be without bug fixes? And this update improves lots of old, annoying bugs as well as includes a few balance fixes.

Big Changes
  • "Start reactor" remembers your progress when interrupted.
  • "Fix wires" doesn't always start in electricity room now.
  • Impostors can no longer do "Submit Scan" task.
  • Add 5 second meeting auto-proceed to online games.
Assorted Fixes
  • Fix hud issue after killing all dummies in freeplay.
  • Fix sample minigame not remembering which test tube is the anomaly
  • Fix various issues if entering/exiting vent when meeting starts
  • Reduce likelihood of lobby ship not despawning after game starts
  • Fix lobby not displaying max players correctly when less than 10.
  • Reduce likelihood of seeing test player spawning in.
  • Reduce likelihood of spawning outside of lobby.

Bug fixes for version 2019.3.26

Hey all!

Another quick release to fix some of the most annoying bugs!
  • Added ghost chat all the time
  • Added limit to kicks/bans during the game. Lobby is still infinite.
  • Fix chat not working if game starts while virtual keyboard is open
  • Fix random arrow pointing to weapons
  • Improve profanity filter
  • Fix dead host causing voting to tally endlessly

Bug Fixes and Skins!

Hey all!

We put out a new update yesterday and another quick one today.

Yesterday's was mostly bug fixes. It was supposed to include skins as a surprise, but they were too buggy, so I pulled them out last second. Turns out, I missed a spot so they leaked for mobile users, so today's update added skins!
