Hello! In this short article on game development, we’d like to shed some light on the mechanics of game events, which we mentioned earlier. You might have already seen similar mechanics in other games.

As the name suggests, game events are different events taking place in the game world. Events are triggered when certain conditions are met. For example, some game events may be caused by the capture of one of the masters, the lack of money from any estate in a country, or if there is an upcoming war, etc.

When an event is triggered, the player needs to decide on how they will react to this event. There are different consequences to any reaction. We tried to create an interesting choice of options for events. Still, the effect will not always be positive.

We hope to make the game world more vivid and realistic with the help of game events. It’s an additional opportunity to influence what is happening in the world. The historical events that we also created will make the game world seem more realistic, too. These are the real events that occurred in the particular time period. The player will be able to make his choice in a certain historical event. Additionally, we will try to introduce historical characters. Most likely, we will tell you about this in a little more detail in the following articles.

Greetings! In our latest article, we talked about the upcoming update of the lodge. We also mentioned the development of the lodge and today we want to give more details about this.

As we told you earlier, you’ll be able to level up the lodge due to gaining experience. Getting to the next level brings a certain number of upgrade points. You can unlock different upgrades to the lodge using these points. They are available as a tree of technologies that will get unlocked as the lodge gets levelled up and the available upgrades are applied.

The upgrades are likely to be divided into several areas: Brotherhood, Resources, Lodge. Each upgrade will earn bonuses or expand the mechanics already available in the game. Probably, the players will be able to level up the upgrades, making them more effective. We are still working on this matter.

Using these new mechanics, we want to strengthen the importance of the lodge and create motivation for players to level it up. Also, it opens a whole new world of interesting decisions for the player. It’s you who will decide what upgrades you should get first and adjust the lodge to your gameplay style.

Greetings! Today's article is about the upcoming update. In addition to regularly enhancing game performance and fixing bugs, we’ll be focusing on the Brotherhood Lodge in the next update. The lodge has been a part of the game for a long time, and some game mechanics, such as resource extraction, are strongly associated with it. Still, we’ve always wanted to increase the role of the lodge in the gameplay and make it more important.
Now it’ll be necessary to create a Brotherhood lodge before you start your activities in the country. Without a lodge, it’s impossible to recruit members of the government and neophytes. Also, a number of master's errands will be unavailable. This way a lodge becomes the base of the Brotherhood. As soon you’ve established it, you’ll start your expansion into the country.

There will be a head of the lodge. This is a new type of character that has his unique errands. The lodge doesn’t function without its head. The confrontation with the Dark Brotherhood will also be associated with the head of the lodge. It’s him who becomes the priority target in this confrontation.

You can develop the lodge, just like any kind of a base. By gaining experience from the Brotherhood, you’ll be able to level up the lodge. Depending on its level, new errands will be available for the members of the lodge, as well as upgrade points will be awarded. They will help you to unlock lodge upgrades. We find these game mechanics very interesting and probably we’ll publish a separate article on the lodge levelling up.

Also, we’re currently working on some other mechanics for the lodge. These are high-level processes. At a certain level of the lodge development, the player will be able to launch processes in the lodge that allow managing the situation in the country, without being distracted by tracking indicators and sending brothers on multiple errands.

As you can see, this is a very large-scale update of the lodge mechanics. In our opinion, these changes will be an interesting part of the gameplay. Of course, we’d like to hear the opinions of our players. You can send your feedback both on social networks and in our discord.

It has been some time since the last update, but rest assured, we have not forgotten about the game. We have heard all the voices asking for a simplification of many gameplay and UI aspects and other various feedback. And we have prepared a major update changing many of these things.

Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the changes, this will make the new version of the game incompatible with older save files.
