Spiral Clicker News

Hey everyone. The new version of Spiral Clicker is up now. I had to update Stencyl in order to get my other project, Adventure High, to compile properly, so it is possible that the update may have caused a crashing issue.

I know how to fix it, and it's easy to fix, but it can occur basically anywhere. I *think* I found all the parts of the code that contain the issue but if you experience a crash, let me know when it crashed and I will upload a fix right away.

Here's what's new in this version of the game:

- Magic tower challenge, and Violet duel added.

I've just finished Spiral Clicker 0.09. This one is a bit smaller than I'd like, as setting up the elf kingdom took quite a long time to design, but I am hoping the new scenes and challenges associated with it that I've added so far will be an interesting addition.

So, I finally noticed what was keeping cloud saves from working; there was a checkbox that basically says "stop this from working" which was checked. I just unchecked it, so hopefully if nothing goes horribly, horribly wrong, cloud saves should become enabled for the game.

You might want to back up your saves just in case before opening the game next, by going to users/appdata/roaming/stencyl/spiral clicker resized and copying the .sol files located there and putting them into a backup folder. Just in case the cloud saving goes weird.

I can turn it back off again if it just deletes everyone's saves or something like that. so, I'll be keeping an ear out for bug reports.
