Search for Surf News

A new surf game is coming out this summer of 2024 - Surfers Code.
It hasn't been posted yet and is not available to the public.
You are invited to a preview play, and for your participation you will get a Steam key to the new release with all the future updates and released version when the final version releases.

What this means is, all you have to do is play the game, like you would anyway, and you get it for free.

Here's the catch...
The game will be changed based on how it is being played in these pre-released versions.
Your progress is not guaranteed to be saved.
You will need a microphone and be okay with having voice and game play recorded. It will not be shared and is only used to make improvements to the game.
Only a limited number of players will be accepted as pre release players.

Here is a Short Explanation what Surfers Code is about . . .
Take everything good from Search For Surf, add more story, character interaction, improve the graphics, improve the animation, add more places to explore, more breaks to find and you get an immersive surf game with the chill feeling of a tropical surf trip.

Take a boat to nearby breaks, learn about the islands from the characters. Win a jet ski in a contest, and explore the outer islands.

There have not been updates for a while, and I'm excited to make the new content available. It has been added as a separate button on the store page to sign up for playtesting. Playtesting allows you to load and play the game for as long as it is up on the page. The plan is allow access at least until Summer.

The new updates will be available for PC only, but it's really good, so hopefully you got a good new PC over the holidays.

Development on The Endless Summer Search For Surf has been continuing for many months now, but without updates.

The Endless Summer "Surfing Challenge", the same one that is on Steam, was also released on the Windows store so you could play it on Xbox.

Recent updates were available through the beta testing option in the game menu, but who knows how to access that? So now new updates will be added as a playtest game. Click on the big button in the store page to sign up and play the new version.

The reason the updates are not automatically added to the current game is because the new version is totally different. New set of islands, new graphics, new features, that could not be easily integrated with the current version. It's like a whole new game.

The new version is a story about a surfer who follows the adventures of The Endless summer crew back to the "fictional" islands that they traveled to during the making of the film.

You will paddle, run, and jump your way through the islands, guided by the lost journal that the film crew left when they originally explored the islands. Find ancient temples, discover new breaks, chat with surfers, and uncover the secrets of this small group of islands with excellent surf breaks, locals, tourists, sharks and other surprises.

As your surfing improves, you will advance through the levels and get rewarded for your abilities.

This is a work in progress and will be updated occasionally. You will see some familiar faces and places. Two player was removed in the hopes of future multiplayer being added. Things will be changed, adjusted, removed, and added, so if you have feedback now is the time to speak up.
