Line Glitch Fix!

Users who were experiencing the odd black rendering lines have a fix, OpenGL still the most stable graphics API launch option for the game, but players have reported DirectX 11 Launch mode fixing this issue.

Legionnaire Class Patch

New patch available for Tactics V: "Obsidian Brigade"!

Main focus has been on the new class, but there are other notable improvements, see below.

Features/Fixes:
*The Legionnaire Class:
*Maneuverability Skill reduces the initial TU cost of movement
*Charge melee Skill (movement adds damage to standard melee attacks)
*Improved Jump Skill (Ups the vertical jump stat)
*Extended Spear Reach Skill (Spear increased to 2 squares, 2h Spear increased to 3)
*Legion Technique Skill
*Jump powers (player delays and leaps towards a target with a spear or 2h spear, ending their turn right next to them)
*Strike Through power (player does a melee attack with a spear or 2h spear ending their turn on the opposite side of the targets)
*Shared Combat Horse Riding with the Legionnaire class skills
*Shared Medium armor proficiency (not mastery) with the Archer and Legionnaire class bonus skills
*Shared Heavy armor proficiency (not mastery) with the Legionnaire class bonus skills
*Shared Staff2H with the Wizard and Healer class bonus skills
*Shared Spear and Spear2H with the Legionnaire class bonus skills
*Shared Mace proficiency with the Defender class bonus skills

*Made fixes to Mount logic

*Low FPS Animations option, causes more of the pixel art illusion for some users

Tactics V: "Obsidian Brigade" has an updated patch:

Features:
*A Quick Battle setting which applies turbo to all actions in combat (note that when the ... is above an AI unit, it is thinking, this can't be sped up)
*A Quick Confirmations setting (dramatically reduces the amount of confirmation boxes in the game)
*Auto Concentrate Skill (the Energy Wizard class has a powerful new skill which will give the unit concentrate every turn)
*Vulnerability upon use of Magic Powers has been nearly doubled in potency
*Blast Magic has dramatically increased damage amounts
*Magic Powers give more XP/SP gains
*End of battle spoil items now have additional items taken from the slain opponents
*The Whirlwind power for the Fighter class has had it's PP cost reduced
*All random numbers used in dice rolls are better randomized
*Added (pricey) Magic Defense focused armors, shield, capes, staffs
*The Rogue Steal skill has a chance to take gear right off of a target
*AI for the Steal skill re-enabled from pre-alpha logic (stolen items come back upon death of the thief, or at the end of combat)
*Losing Units (in any way) returns their gear back to the Roster
*New gear and models

Fixes to:
*Balance bugs
*Tile bugs in desert levels
*Regaining of Bernard in an optional mission if Bernard died

EDIT:
2.1:
*a better system of generating random numbers for combat rolls (as such, the percents should be more accurate)
*Quick Battle enhanced to have more turbo events.

*bug fix: Quick Confirmations allowing two non-movement actions a turn when using self-target only actions.

Tactics V: "Obsidian Brigade" has a new patch:

*Added Noisy Terrain visuals, which can be turned off in the start screen
*Added more terrain models
*Added stacking of all status effects
*Added Vulnerability effects to all offensive elemental spells
*BUG FIX: Better memory management

Additional Fixes

Following Fixes were added:
  • Fix for summoned creatures and undead crash on certain hardware
  • Fix for new recruits stats
  • Fix for enemies going out of bounds on Chapter 2 Mission 7
  • Fixes to Achievement requirements (Flawless Achievement)
  • Fixes for Loading screen consistency
  • Fixes to returning to title loading
  • XP Hidden option stores between sessions
  • Mute Music option stores between sessions
  • Mute FX option stores between sessions
  • Minimum bomb throw distance effected by blast radius
  • Facing for two weapon backstabs no longer turn the target's facing on the first swing
  • Self targeted healing no longer turns the unit
  • Healing spells and Undead damage spells are now affected by Will (a little)
  • Fixes to Necromancer power TU amounts
