Living in this big and dark mansion is not easy. The never-ending hallways, the thumps occasionally heard outside the room, and the lack of lights which make it hard to see what's on the front.
In usual life, people come and go. But here, no one ever go, they died and became part of the mansion instead. The thought of escaping the mansion looks more futile as days go.

Sightings found that the mansion got more victims recently, and by more, we meant a whole lot more. Most of them seem to have survived and got out, and the others who failed are trapped inside for eternity.

We came across found footages of people who dared to venture in the mansion. They were lured in because they think they were ready, they think they have seen the mansion before and would be okay. Well, we hope they were right.

All found footages might contain spoilers, while every experiences is different for each person, it is better to not see any spoiler for the full experience.

Apollo, an explorer that have traveled on many kind of scary and creepy places. He has outsmarted some beings outside of this planet, killed lot of virus-infected people, and even destroyed beings from memories.
He cut his adventure in parts, take some rest, and in the meantime doing some other venturing in other places on his resting time. He already went to the Witch's House and definitely trying to be more careful here, it's really fun to see them wondering around and commenting on lot of things. He explored about a half of the mansion, and pretty sure would be able to get out sooner or later. We hope he'll keep going through.

Zezuu, a veteran, he has been journeying far and wide for about 9 years, from a place where you can destroy a planet with energy stored inside your body to magical place where you have to exile other people to achieve prizes.
This found footage is an old one, but we hope he will come back. Because, when he is back, there definitely will be more surprises for him here and there. His commentary is easy to enjoy, and hopefully he was enjoying himself too. The footage is not too long, but not too short, it's just right. Sadly, he left his exploration right after the death door.
In our retrospect that ghost definitely is a pesky one, and we've driven them out from there (they were very angry). Hopefully, Zezuu will be back for more exploring.

A humble and genuine guy who just want to have fun exploring places, especially if the place was discovered by smaller team. He does lot of commentary and even trying to complete lot of his adventures, definitely someone you should look out.
He seems very calm throughout the footage, one that is not easily fazed. We knew this is not his first journey to places of horror, but we didn't know someone will be this undisturbed. We just hope he's enjoying himself behind his calm demeanor. The footage stopped where he was stuck inside the dream, he then promptly told us to help him. Even though the mansion was still below what he considers as satisfying experience, we hope he'll come back when he can achieve the true ending. (which he said in the found footage.)

We're really glad that there are people who dared to challenge the mansion to escape from here. And we know, these are just 3 from who knows how many more the mansion lured in. If any of you have found footages we need to see, please tell us!

Here's another matches to lit the candle, to journey on to the next darkness.

Another two weeks passed by so fast, or is it just us?
Did you see the super blood moon on last Wednesday? Did you see it directly? Or did you see a livestream of it? It was a full eclipse on around New Zealand and half eclipse on America and Eastern Asia. It's hard to see from our place, so we watched the livestream of it. It looked really cool.

We've read the review, we've watched lot of gameplay, thank you very much for all of your commentaries, suggestions, and advices. We are very grateful. Honestly, they're very important because now we know what's lacking from our game from players' perspective, because the target of our game is, of course, the players.

One of the most needed content was restoratives. We've discussed it and the most suitable restoratives that we could put in the game is, BERRY!

Do you have any more suggestion? We have more that can be put for variety, but berry is definitely confirmed for smash bros. the next update.

Next one is candle that you can bring around. We've discussed about that too and will definitely put the mechanic in the game. But we're still deciding on places that need to be darken so the candle would be necessary to have. Portable candle is not confirmed yet, but stay tune for more info.

We're also polishing our monster, giving them more animation and maybe other things. Here's a sneak peek so far.


Next step, we'll be going back to the start of the mansion. We realized (with the reviews' help too) that each part of the game is still 'empty'. We'll be adding more stories, and more puzzles. We'll also be using mechanics which are only used once, such as picking up mechanic. We're still brainstorming about this, so please stay tune.

A singer who could be seen venturing out in the wilds or even the space when he is not singing. Seems like he could be a good bard.
He survived the mansion's ordeal and even defeated the bloody footsteps with only a sliver of energy left, quite an impressive feat we might add. His commentary and his experience on the footage helped us a lot for the improvement around the mansion. Although he didn't really get outside, he still pulled through to the end. Hopefully, he will come back for more exploring.

An adventurer who ventured to lot of places, mostly to places where he could shoot some kind of weapons. Too bad there is no weapon he could shoot in here, it would have been easier for all of us.
He uses mostly local languages, but his commentary is fun to be followed if you understand. His adventures inside the mansion was very rough, he kept going back to his diary a lot, but he still had quite lot of energy when he confronted the bloody footsteps. While he entered at the same time as Biyori, he held out until he could actually escape the mansion. He escaped, only to realize something is not right. Hopefully, he will come back, to fix what happened to him.

A vampire who really loves being an adventurer, killing dragons, and hanging out in a tavern to play cards. Even though she's a vampire, she's not good with horror even though it's not her first time, it's fun to see her reactions though.
Her journey hasn't seen an end yet, but we know she'll definitely escape successfully, because she really doesn't want to be here. Her commentary revolved around the obvious, which led to fun reaction. Although, if it's really that obvious, none of us would be stuck here for eternity now, wouldn't we? She already met Amber, and halfway on helping her for the ritual, so the next found footage should have her escape the mansion safely, hopefully.

First of all, Eid Mubarak and Happy Ascension Day for those who celebrate them, may blessings and peace come to us all. We posted the greetings three days ago on our Twitter, Facebook page, and Instagram, which could be checked on either one, if not all of them.

It's been a month and a half, and to be quite honest, developing an early access game is a new experience for us. We're still finding out on what usually developers do while they are developing early access game. One of it will be the development log, which will be posted once in two weeks, to let people know we're not dead from the bloody footprint monster.

Have you tried to reach the ending on the last update we released? What do you think about that ending? We're currently working on the explanation for that ending, on why that ending happened to be. Here are some sneak-peeks of that.


What do you think of the sprite's animation so far? The artists are trying their best to make them all. Sprite's animation is one of our polishing steps, along with putting background music and sounds. This one is recently made, and will be put into the game on the next update, will you be able to see them?

We're very glad that Cursed Mansion community is growing better than before. We cherish all the reviews, feedbacks, and suggestions sent to us, since those are all signs that lot of people care for our game and want it to grow and improve. Some people even made videos and did streams of them playing our game, which means a lot to us. We also got a great fanart of our girl! On the recent update, we've delivered 2 endings to the game, so there should be something to achieve and not just a cliffhanger on the end of the game. But of course, there's lot more to come, especially more endings and stories to explore. We have big things to be implemented to the game, and it takes quite some times to polish. Also, if there's any old or new bugs that we missed on a patch, please let us know through Steam discussion or our Discord (we always check both first thing in the morning).

Another thing to address is the energy restoratives system. We've got suggestion to add restoratives to the game. We've also seen players struggle on the last part of the game with a slither of energy. We're now discussing on how to integrate restoratives to the game and the story, since you've probably seen the state of food they serve in the mansion (spoiler alert: it's not great). But, hopefully, it will come sooner or later.
