Gordian Quest is an epic deckbuilding RPG, using modern gaming concepts like roguelite elements and turn-based strategic combat. You will form parties of heroes whom you will have to lead and manage on grueling missions.





Explore 4 different Acts in Campaign Mode to go through the story and defeat evil... Or take on the randomly generated Realm Mode to test your mettle and strength with the cards you are dealt.

We'd like to thank everyone for their support, love and feedback. We are determined to continue adjusting and improving the Gordian Quest experience for everybody, so we have rolled out a new 1.3 Patch!

Patch 1.3 consists of mostly technical adjustments, but most importantly, Realm Mode's new Boss has been let loose from his cage. The Alpha Werewolf's bite is now stronger than his bark.



[h2]The Alpha Werewolf[/h2]



A few moons ago, we asked the community what kind of boss they'd like to see in Gordian Quest. Over those few months, he was in training, and now he's ready for a face off.

[h3]Skills[/h3]

The Alpha Werewolf has various AOE abilities and single target skills. They often focus on bleed stacks, keeping Heroes on their toes about health.

We have given the Alpha Werewolf a bunch of underlings, based on player suggestion. Like a pack of wolves, he does not fight alone, and will use his minions to provide for him. Being the loyal hounds they are, some will not hesitate to keep him protected.



The Alpha Werewolf protects his pups in exchange: he can potentially buff his underlings so they can do his dirty job as well. Be aware of how they bounce off each other.



We look forward to hearing from everyone about their experience with the Alpha Werewolf! Your suggestions have brought in a new, exciting experience. We hope to have another opportunity in implementing community suggestions in the future!

[h2]Other changes[/h2]

• Controller support for various interactions have been updated and improved, such as in the map, or when using the inventory UI etc.
  
• Improved initial load times when starting the game. Players will no longer have to wait a long time when starting up the game.
  
• Improved load times when game has been running for a period of time.
  
• We have resolved some memory issues that have previously caused some problems at times when the user plays the game for an extended period of time.
  
• FIxed an issue where having a lot of items in your inventory will lead to long save/load times.
  
• Fixed certain issues causing black screen to occur when transitioning between scenes.
  
• Fixed various issues causing soft locks in pvp mode.

Hey Heroes!

We got some great news for all of you: Patch 1.2.16 is now live on the Bleeding-Edge (BETA) branch! Your feedback once again has allowed us to continue expanding and improving Gordian Quest.

If you would like to give it a test, follow the instructions in this guide to give these brand new updates a shot.

Translations for Bleeding-Edge will come later and due this being a beta build, expect bugs. If you do bump across any, don’t forget to hit F8 to send us that report!

[h2]So what does 1.2.16 contain?[/h2]

• The addition of the new Realm Boss: The Alpha
• Controller support enhancements
  
• Optimizations (Preventing black screens and excessive loading.)
  

[h2]Realm Boss: The Alpha[/h2]


The Alpha werewolf wants to showcase his training! You have a chance of encountering this pup on a Boss node during a Realm Mode run. The Alpha has been trained by you, the community, and is now live on the Bleeding-Edge branch to show off his fresh new tricks.

Since he's still getting used to his new skills, he's open to some suggestions and feedback. If he's looking a little buggy, let us know! We want to give out the most PAW-sitive boss fight ;).

We have exciting news for you guys! A few months ago, we asked you for your thoughts on a new boss. However, during our recent brainstorming session, we stumbled upon a pawsitively shocking surprise!

It turns out that we had actually created a realm boss design over a year ago and it got lost in our archives!

[h2]The Alpha Werewolf[/h2]

Dubbed "The Alpha", was originally intended to just be a simple summoner of wolves and werewolves. But as the game had evolved, we knew it needed more.

This is where we need your help. We want to hear your ideas on what special abilities and attacks "The Alpha" should have. Let us know your suggestions in the comments and together, let's design a boss that is not only challenging but also fun to play! :)



The Werewolf will be added to Realm Mode: our rogue-like, procedurally generated game mode. For those who are new to Gordian Quest, Realm Mode creates the map randomly, so your experience with every run will be vastly different. You can take on this boss with different teams, or even solo.
