[h2] Side Quests [/h2]
Side missions have been carefully crafted to offer players a range of engaging challenges, Each mission offers unique objectives, ensuring that players are constantly immersed in dynamic gameplay experiences. These will allow you to earn additional funds, which you will allocate, for example, to improve your character's skills or buy more truck customizations. Depending on the area you are in, they will be different. Of course, if you do not want to perform them, no one will force you to do so, however, you will escape quick earnings and opportunities to unlock various surprises. The missions will be divided into those in which you will transport various goods and those in which there will be something to repair.



[h2] Even more map improvements [/h2]
We've expanded the game map with new locations, enriching the world of Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths with even more content to explore and discover. New locations are filled with opportunities for adventure and exploring. Players will, uncover secrets, and encounter fresh challenges as they navigate the expanded map. We try to fill all the spaces on the fly, so that everything is coherent and tells an interesting story of the area and the resident population. From caves through buildings, abandoned buildings or even beautiful sinkholes or canyons. All this to make sure that at every step you take while driving through the wilderness, you will find something that can interest you and make you remember.



[h2] Skill tree [/h2]
We're also actively working on updating the talent tree system, introducing new skills and abilities that will allow players to further customize their gameplay experience and tailor their characters to their preferred play style. These perks will provide various benefits - higher earnings from missions, less wear and tear on spare parts, the ability to recover additional parts from repairs, or even reduce damage to the truck while driving like a maniac. We are constantly testing and adapting them to the game, so that they are not too powerful but give significant advantages.

We've taken immersion to the next level by introducing a plethora of new sounds scattered throughout the game maps. As you traverse the dense jungles, prepare to be enveloped by the diverse array of wildlife calls and insect chirps echoing through the foliage. Each rustle of leaves and distant animal call adds to the ambiance, enhancing the sense of realism as you navigate through the vibrant jungle terrain.

Venture into the lofty heights of the mountainous regions, and you'll be greeted by the haunting whispers of the wind as it sweeps through the peaks. These atmospheric soundscapes transport you to the heart of the wilderness, immersing you in the majesty and grandeur of Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths diverse landscapes.

Furthermore, we've meticulously curated the soundscape of each environment to reflect its unique characteristics and atmosphere. From the tranquil babbling of streams in serene valleys, every sound serves to deepen your connection to the world around you. Whether you're embarking on a perilous journey through dense forests or scaling the towering peaks of mountains.

The player map interface was update to provide a sleeker and more user-friendly experience. At any point during your gameplay adventure, you can access the updated map with ease. [h2]Optimization[/h2]
One of the primary focuses has been optimizing the game's performance to ensure smoother gameplay across a broader range of hardware configurations. Our development team has dedicated extensive efforts to identify and address performance bottlenecks, resulting in a more efficient and responsive gaming experience. Through a combination of code optimization, resource management enhancements, and streamlined processes, Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths now achieves higher frame rates on a variety of systems.



[h2] DLSS Improvements [/h2]
We took care of a better implementation of DLSS compared to what you could see in the Prologue. DLSS utilizes AI-powered upscaling to deliver images that appear as sharp as native resolutions while rendering at a lower resolution. This not only results in improved performance but also allows players to experience the game at higher graphical settings without compromising frame rates. It only works on Nvidia graphic cards.



[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
We've also focused on fixing existing issues, and introducing gameplay improvements to make your journey through dangerous paths even more thrilling. Our commitment to delivering a polished and bug-free gaming experience remains unwavering. Our QA team, is working, super, hard to resolve numerous bugs and glitches. We realize that we need to focus doubly on that - no one likes problems in a game just a few moments after its launch.

The locations in Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths have undergone quite a metamorphosis, we have added a lot of captivating locations that you will come across while driving. These changes will not only increase the quantity, but also improve the quality of gameplay. Players can now engage in new and meaningful interactions in the game, and overcome new obstacles. We have paid special attention to detail, ensuring that every texture, weather condition and detail contributes to a more immersive experience.

After a long break, we are back to systematically publishing more developer posts containing information on the state of progress of the game. A lot has changed over that time :) Our team was constantly working on fine-tuning all the mechanics, maps, interface and economy. Practically every aspect has been improved in some degree.





[h2]Natural environment[/h2]
The maps have undergone quite a metamorphosis. We have put a lot of work in expanding the environment and visual beautification. We focused on improving lighting, better vegetation coverage and added even more detail that will make the visual perception much better. The visual enhancement of the maps will make them more interesting to explore.





[h2] Exploration [/h2]
When preparing the maps, we also tried to think about people who like exploration. We have prepared quite a lot of interesting places where it will be worthwhile to look and scout the area.





[h2]Dangerous Paths [/h2]
We also focused strongly on the aspect of improving the layout of roads on all maps. Virtually every point on the map is reached by multiple roads, some shorter and bumpier, others longer and definitely safer for your truck. Only your gameplay style will determine which one you choose.




[h2]UI changes [/h2]
Admittedly, today we won't be focusing so much on improvements to the UI, but we want to let you know that there are some, in order to make the game less difficult to understand and definitely easier to play. We will elaborate further on this in future posts.

Welcome to another developer post. Here's a handful of information about what's been going on.


We have worked hard on the hierarchy of the engine, so you will be able to disassemble it even more. In the process, we improved the logic of disassembly and assembly. We have made the necessary improvements to the UI and improved the camera performance, which some of you complained about.



More and more detail and places where you will find various interesting things are appearing on all maps. We are also working on cranking up the driving physics and side tasks.

Repairing the mighty ZIL truck will be one of your primary tasks. That rugged vehicle will suffer wear and tear as you tackle challenging terrains and face unexpected obstacles. Each repair will present a new challenge, requiring you to diagnose the issues and fix them using your mechanical expertise. Whether it's repairing the engine, replacing damaged parts, or fixing the suspension, you'll have to ensure the truck is in top shape to conquer the dangerous paths ahead.

With the CB radio, you'll be able to communicate with other characters and receive additional side missions. You'll have the opportunity to get out of the real trouble and call for help.
