Hellish Quart pre-alpha v.2024.02.28.0

TWEAK:
- Sorted out attacks after dodge mechanics: When you dodge and press an attack right after, the attack will buffer and play with 0.12s delay. This rule is just for normal attacks. It does not apply to special moves that require you to press a direction two times first.
- Sorted out pushing, taunting and grabbing after dodge mechanics. Grabs and Pushes: If you dodge and press X+Y or X+A, etc. up to 0.12s after, the grab or push will buffer and play after the active frames of the dodge. Taunts: If you press Y+B within 0.12s after inputting Dodge, the taunt will not happen.
- Yendrek: is now affected by Attack Homing Factor options (more fighters to do as we go)
- Up to 8 controllers supported (before was 4)
- River arena: can now be randomly selected by the game in Survival and History Buff modes if it is unlocked or No Progression mode is selected
- Gedeon, Jan, Marta, Alexander: Cloth tweaks
- Gallows arena, Dungeon arena, Stables arena: different lighting
- Marta: a bit larger tip thrust detector
- Jacek: starts walking forward a bit faster if the right foot is forward
- Isabella: RFF Snap cut initial trajectory tweak to not go under the guard

FIX:
- Yendrek, Samuel, Barabasz, Isabella, Gedeon, Zera: Fixed regression after engine change: blood decals (more fighters will be fixed as we go)
- Changes in the camera rig structure required by the new engine

Known issues:
- sometimes ragdolls get "exploded" into space after a defended grab
- sometimes cloth simulation spawns broken

TWEAK
- Option to Limit FPS is now hidden (it is always on)
- Graphics Options that can potentially break the physics simulation of the game (cause jittery motion, etc.) are now moved to Advanced panel
- The game is now locked to 60 fps by default (can be changed in Advanced Options, but you have to know what you are doing to not cause physics to jitter or break)
- Vsync is now off by default to prevent brand new players with high speed monitors and slow graphics cards from experiencing slomo on default settings. If you want to turn on Vsync (to get rid of screen tearing for example), make sure you either turn off "Force FPS" so the game can detect your refresh rate, or set it manually to your monitor's refresh rate

NEW
- New music track in Town arena

Your saved graphics settings have been reset, please adjust them again if you feel your PC can handle higher settings. In case of any problems just reset the graphics setting and restart the game.

IMPORTANT:
If you experience weird bugs, such as half of special moves not working, pink textures, not clickable menu buttons, crashes, invisible characters, levels not loading, etc. - that means Steam update may have corrupted your local files. Please verify the integrity of the game files to fix it:

1. Load Steam
2. From the Library tab, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu
3. Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files...
4. Steam will verify the game's files and fix the problems

FIX:
- Barabasz, Jan: fixed a bug in their guard animations that caused guard additive animations to play on top of attack animations, if the opponent also attacked right before
- Fixed a situation where, if both players attacked simultaneously with in-place attacks, one would blend out to a guard after the attack, and the other one to a neutral stance, depending on who attacked first. Right now both blend out to neutral, unless they press or hold Back - then they assume a guard normally.
- Fixed a situation where all characters would do the leg retracting on low attack, even if they don't have this move

This change sacrifices the worldwide recognizability of the titles for the sake of being more grounded in the time and place of the plot of the game.


NEW:
- Added an Option to choose a Homing Multiplier for attacking and walking (rotation rate to face the opponent). You can even set it to x0, but there always will be some homing when walking back or dodging back (WIP - not all characters have it yet)

FIX:
- Yendrek: fixed DodgeLeft, X triggering a special attack (it should not)
- Free Camera: fixed a bug where it would not launch in No Blood modes
- Jan, Barabasz, Laszlo: fixed a bug where they occasionally played a long guard additive animation on top of normal attacks, twisting their arm
- AI: Fixed a bug where the AI still tried to fight after winning a round
- Fixed a bug where Gaurd Away (Down, Back, LG) would aim the sword at the opponent with IK


Release Notes:
- Migration to Unity 2023 is coming soon. It is required for future compatibility with consoles and allows adding new technologies such as FSR, DLSS, Raytracing, etc. Check out the Beta "Test" branch in the Steam Client (Right-Click on the game -> Properties -> Beta) to see how it's going.
