Switching to Free

Mars Flight VR will be switching to Free to Download from October 20th, 2022.

Ingenuity photos update

A minor update which adds some of Ingenuity's photos from the first six flights. Also, Perseverance rover has been moved to the correct landing site.

HOTAS update

This update adds support for HOTAS or Flightstick controllers. Any Flightstick with a twist-rudder and throttle input should work.

Full patch notes:

Update - Music options

Patch notes:
  • Added music options to pause menu. You can choose to have music always on, music playing only during races or photography missions, or always off.
  • Updated engine to Unity 2019.4.4f1 LTS.
  • Updated Rewired (third party input system) - Updated Xbox One Controller definition for breaking changes caused by Windows 10 2004 update on Windows Standalone and Windows UWP platforms with Raw Input and Direct Input with Use XInput disabled.

Dust Storm Update

This update adds the ability to toggle a martian dust storm. Pause the game and select 'Dust Storm On' from the pause menu to see what the visibility would be like in a typical martian dust storm.



There is also a fix for a bug which could cause the controller to become unresponsive in the main menu.
