1.9.0 Beta

A large update that we’ve been working on since January. After PC testing, the build will be available for mobile. Please report any bugs you find here in comments or via clicking “report bug” in the game menu and describing the issue. Thank you!

The main changes are new functions, balance edits, and better translation (still not perfect but we’re on it).
New content will be available later.
Multiplayer game is still available via Steam Remote Play only.
Using old savegames may be buggy due to new functions and data.

Some highlights of our progress and the upcoming release. This is our last week of internal testing, now we only have one critical bug, public testing on Steam comes as soon as we fix it. And if that goes well, the mobile is next.

Soundtrack. You've been asking since forever, and here it is – from mp3 to lossless. If you want to support us, you can buy it (we'll be real happy). 80 minutes. For now, it's only available on the new Steam Soundtracks native player (but we may upload it somewhere else, too): https://store.steampowered.com/app/1284500



Dividends. How it works: Every company may or may not pay out dividends once a year. How much you get depends on how volatile the current company is. In the case of a short position, it is the player who pays the dividends. After the payment of dividends comes the ex-dividend date: a stock's price falls down and slowly rises back up. We also added a highly volatile cryptocurrency and dropped silver. You still can't buy any stocks at any time though (it'll come later).



Custom currency. You can fine-tune the numbers (raise or lower) and pick any currency symbol you like. This will NOT change the game balance, so this feature is purely visual. Maybe somebody wants to see his wage as $20/hour, not 100T as it right now.



New map(s). Still under construction. You can see the concept art on the screenshot. We have it in 3D, but can't show it just yet. We want to add multiple maps from various areas to make things interesting, but the cost of 3D art is ridiculously high for an indie game. We now get why pixel art and low poly are in. So, for now, we're trying to strike a balance between cost, speed, and quality.

Every feature is a ton of game design, interface, coding, and UI tweaks. It goes something like this: come up with an idea, draw it, explain it, code it, test it, revise it, repeat x10, and only then turn it in and move on.

Bugfix 1.8.5

We've resolved the biggest issue with the freeze during the balance rows deletion. And also some minor internal bugs.

Something else:

- Easier to pay off loans
- Localization fixes
- The mood events are rebalanced to keep you focused
- Family takes 5% of income
- Fixed some artwork
- Different day job penalties now taken not from cash but from the upcoming salary

Looking for beta testers

We're fighting with bugs and sometimes even successfully. Although there are many different systems and variations, and your help is necessary.

The rules are simple:

1) You have to have a Timeflow purchase
2) You have to have bugs is 1.8.4 version
3) Bugs are present when you start a new game, not loading an older savegame
4) Email us to [email protected]
5) We're sending you a test code activation
6) You play the beta version, looking for the bug you previously experienced
7) You send us a bug and balance report
