Step by step...

Version 0.6.7 doesn't have any big fixes or features, most of the work recently has been behind the scenes getting multi-party dungeons working (it's getting there!). However, there are enough fixes it seems worthwhile pushing a release. Especially the "can't move after using a cauldron" bug that's took me a bit too long to track down. Thanks to everyone who report it!

  • Fix possible hang moving after using cauldron

  • Floor changes on dungeon minimap are faster
  • Secret doors in Crystal caves added
  • New entrance and stairs for dungeons

Minor art update

Version 0.6.6 is minor update that adds some custom cave and crystal dungeon art for stairs and entrances. There are also some minor optimizations and one possible fix for some broken movement bugs.

A number of people have reported freezing up after using cauldrons, I've been unable to reproduce this issue but have added some additional logging that might help track down the issue. If you do encounter this bug - or any other - please do file a bug report with a recent save game if possible.

Multi-floor Dungeons!

Version 0.6.5 has just dropped!

This release has a few minor fixes, but the major change is the addition of multi-floor dungeons.

Now don't expect to see every dungeon now span multiple floors, these dungeons are fairly rare currently and I expect they'll stay that way. They do lay the groundwork for having some multi-party dungeons.

Some of the art is still placeholder assets, but expect that to be resolved in the next few updates.

New caves to explore!

There may not be a lot of changes listed in the notes, but version 0.6.3 brings a mostly whole new set of cave art. Enjoy!

  • Fix interactions while minimap is displayed in dungeons

Watch out for traps!

Version 0.6.2 just dropped with a bunch of new trap types to watch out for, as well as a bunch of fixes. Thanks you to every one who has reported bugs - each report makes the game better!

The 0.6.x series will continue on filling out the dungeon crawling content, which as you know is pretty important in a game like this!
