[h2]Hello Evospace Community[/h2]

We would like to inform you about the forthcoming update for Evospace. This update includes several new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Here are the details:

[h2]New Features and Models[/h2]
A significant enhancement in this update is the introduction of 'Sector Structure 0.19'. This new sector structure has been developed for better performance. As part of our commitment to compatibility, we have taken a transitional step to ensure that maps from all previous versions of the game can be opened in the new update.
'Planar Water' is added. Big simplification but also huge optimization and fix.
New blocks: 'HandGenerator Block' and 'KineticHeater Block' is added.
Model improvements: The models for 'Sifter', 'Compact Generator', and 'Induction Furnace' have been updated.



[h2]Improvements[/h2]
A new 'lua lib' has been added for improved scripting.
The 'Jetpack Effect' will now be disabled on low settings to optimize performance.
The 'Item Rack' will now include descriptions for improved usability.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
The animation for 'Chem Bath' has been fixed.
The issue with 'Titanium Ingot Achievement' has been resolved.
The'Cell Hand Recipe' bug has been fixed.



We have much more updated content and plan to publish it with small parts. New loading menu, block replace, updated models, new tech, modding and more.

We will continue to work on further updates for Evospace and appreciate your ongoing feedback.

Evospace Roadmap

Major part of modding support is done. At this point most of all block logic are already working on new system.

I’m still working on api, but currently the game is already playable and i can add some content.

[h2]Finite Ore Deposits[/h2]


Ores now are sector based. Available for Drilling Rig ores now is depends on map ores. If you can see Copper Ore on surface then Drilling Rig probably will be able to extracting it here too

Each sector has his values for each ore. While you extracting ores from sector speed will be decreasing
By default each sector has one most common ore with capacity = 1000
When gathered > capacity extracting speed will be slowly decreasing

At the moment i'm working on modding support. I have moved old Lua code to my new library. Also resource loading code is improved with detailed error logging.

Modding support will be not only new feature in 0.19. I'm plan to add new technology branch with more advanced fuels and extend usage of filtering unit.

[h2]Future plans[/h2]

I have a plan to rework most of old models. With better pipleline they will be more detailed and they will have less rendering cost.

Next update will bring more endgame content. Also i plan to add a tutorial.
I working on modern wiki with lot of automatically generated content. We can add it into game it the future. Tutorial is must be added before final release too.
