Elk island is populated with various types of animals, some rarer than others. In this post we will tell you a bit about the creatures of Welcome to Elk.🦊💚
Welcome to Elk is an adventure game set on a fictional island stitched together with true stories and tall tales, and inhabited by the people who lived them. On Elk, you will meet weird and wonderful characters, but the island is also populated with interesting creatures.

It goes without saying that Elks live on the island of Elk. One of the true stories of Welcome to Elk revolves around the character Sue who experiences an Elk stepping on her head.
Elks are the largest species in the deer family and can weigh up to 330 kg (727 lb). But in the original story told to us, it was actually a muskox which can become even heavier! Imagine a muskox stepping on your head. Ouch…

Our beloved Klumben is a pretty large rabbit in lovely pink and white colors. Klumben is Anders’ pet rabbit and best friend, and there’s actually a whole story dedicated to this beautiful creature which you will experience in the game. But be aware that the stories of Elk are not always rainbows and sunshine..
[h3]Larry the Fish 🐟[/h3]
Elk might be a little mysterious sometimes.. for example when fish starts talking to you. Larry is one of those fish but he’s good and he can take a joke. You can find Larry at the local bar, The Hermit.
[h3]Ynglet 🐠[/h3]
The Ynglet is a strange looking fish, but it swims really well. There is actually a whole meditative platformer game dedicated to Ynglet, which you can play later this year on Steam. But at the moment, it lives in a fish tank at Mr. Bo’s place.
[h3]Seal 🐬[/h3]
As Elk is surrounded by water you can find different sea animals here, for example different fish and a curious seal.
[h3]The mysterious Gelk 🦄[/h3]
We can’t say much about this mysterious creature, but it lives somewhere out there on Elk… and I heard it sings really well.
