Patch notes v0.9.19 (test branch)

# How to access the test branch

- Right-clicking on 'Devil Slayer - Raksasi' in your Steam library.
- Click ‘Properties’.
- Click the 'Betas' tab.
- Select 'test' from the drop-down menu.
- Click 'Close'.


# New Contents (Weapons)

- Flail: unlocked after passing chapter 2.
- Tiangang Hammer: need scroll to unlock it, which you can get through the challenge room in chapter 4 and 5 or the boss chest in chapter 6.


# New Contents (Relics)

- Cloak of Immolation
- Chipped Hound
- Armor of Tian Wei
- Life Candle
- Enchanted Smoke
- Band of the Sage (Hero Set)
- Demon Spider Egg (Arachne Set)
- Windward Cape (Momentum Set)


# New Feature

- Shields: can perform "Perfect Guard" against enemy attacks. "Perfect Guard" can block attacks that have "Guard Break" ability. When "Perfect Guard" is triggered, the enemy will be not able to act for a short period.


# Balance (Weapons)

- Double Bladed Staff: combo is split into multiple segments that can be controlled independently, adding damage hitbox to rotating blades.
- Azure Sword & Steel Shield: base attack increased from 30 to 35, blade length increased slightly.
- Bladed Shield & New Moon: throwing shield attack can land multiple hits, its damage hitbox will appear earlier, and now has "Guard Break" trait.
- Assault Shield & Lapis Mace: add a block hitbox to the weapon.


# Balance (Relics)

- Betel Nut: modified to +10 Stamina recovery and -20 Max Stamina.
- Monster Lung: modified to +5 Stamina recovery and +20 Max HP.
- Glasses Cat's Bell: modified to transform back to original form when used again. Forced to transform back to original form when entering a new chapter.
- Hunter Trap: no knockback when triggering.
- Serpent Spirit: immune to Charm.
- Friendly spider's AI has been changed to follow the player.


# Balance (Bosses)

- Wolf and Raccoon: when the raccoon is defeated, Wolf will gain 40% additional damage reduction, increased speed, and immunity to all abnormal stats.
- Sledgehammer Raksa: sight increased from 14 to 30.


# Balance (Monsters)

- Killer Vine: When a character is immune to stun, they will be not affected by Killer Vine; no knockback when triggering.
- Animated Incense Burner: bonus soul changed to 2 points.
- Spiral Dragon Tower: immune to Blindness.


# Balance (Misc)

- Reduces the effect of slowdown on movement speed and animation speed, avoiding the problem that enemies can be easily slowed down to the point of immobility.
- Supports multiple curses at the same time; a curse obtained from The Witch of Kwenlun will no longer disable other curses.


# Experience Optimization

- Mysterious Merchant Baldwyn: added a dialog option "Deposit 100 coins".
- The knockback distance will not be affected by "Super Armor" effect when a character receives an attack that has "Guard Break" ability.
- Improved Boss HP bar display in multiple bosses situations.
- Improved camera movement logic when entering a Boss room.
- Miserly Demon: changed character animations to avoid the problem of not being able to differentiate from Hungry Ghost.
- When upgrading weapons, you can use the dialogue options to choose whether you want to upgrade your primary or backup weapon; you can still upgrade your weapon after transforming to cat girl.
- Iaido Blade: improve the connection between the animations.
- Cat Girl: improve the connection between the animations.
- Spirit of Agility: added to the regular shop sale pool.
- Spirit of Vigor: added to the regular shop sale pool.
- Spirit of Speed: added to the regular shop sale pool.
- Bone Canister: immune to Charm.
- Inactive Tomb Guardian: immune to Charm.
- Spider Eggsac: immune to Charm.
- Great Sandworm Egg: immune to Charm.
- Devil Bud: immune to Charm.


# User Interface

- Change the way the boss name is displayed in the boss appearance animation.
- Don't show icons for achievements like "Immaculate Integrity" in the summary screen when failing a trial.
- Add UI display for the continuous recovery effect after eating Mushroom.
- Improve the dialogue interface, fix some buggy sound effects, and improve the scroll bar.


# Effects

- Add some smoke effects when a character is knocked off.


# Bug Fixes

- Zombie Artisan: fix an issue where a summoned Zombie would attack Zombie Artisan when he was controlled by Puppet Maggot.
- Fix an issue where the bonus choices after defeating the Rampage Bosses could be re-rolled by closing the game.
- Fix an issue where other enemies in the same level with Rampage Bosses could not trigger Rage Bursts.
- Fix an issue that the sound volume of the opening video is not controlled by the volume setting.
- Fix some configuration error of books.
- Fix an issue where blocking Arrested Spirit's throwing knives at close range could incorrectly trigger a counter attack.
- Fix an animation problem of Sledgehammers characters.
- Fix an issue where skills like Attraction, Mass Stun, Regenerate and Slow might not be cast correctly.
- Fix an issue where the Fake Assistant's Heal skill would knock back Crazed Magistrate.
- Fix the issue where when a player dies after triggering quicksand and comes back, the remnants of the previous quicksand will stay and stack a new quicksand, which will result in summoning two Giant Antlion.


# Localization

- Update the translated text.
- Fix the issue where the bonus choice screen after defeating Rampage Bosses was not translating.
- Fix some translation issues.
- Blood Shield: renamed to "Mana Shield".


# Misc

- Adjust the way of describing the injury trigger effect of relics.
- Fix some typos.
