Version 0.37 - Leaderboards Balance

[h2]Features[/h2]
  • Leaderboards are now accessible!
    • For any game that you play online and reach Ronalds (killing at least 1), your score will be submitted to the Leaderboard.
    • Leaderboards are first divided into Pick & Random, and then by map, effectively providing 14 Different Leaderboards to compete for.
  • You can now rotate the camera on the X Axis, using the Home & End buttons.
    • Like before, Page Up/Down still rotate the camera on the Y Axis. Use F1 to reset your camera rotation.


[h2]Optimizations & Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug where game would infinitely hang on the loading screen.
  • Improved network stability, resulting in far less Server Pauses and Disconnects.
  • Rebaked and optimized lightmaps, shaving about 1 GB off the game size.
    -- This should help with excessive load times.
  • Updated texture compression and mip maps; this should improve in-game performance.


[h2]Tweaks & Improvements[/h2]
  • The first time the game loads, you'll be prompted to select your Region.
    -- You can always change this in Settings.
  • Renamed Latency to Cross Region.
    -- By default, this is set to Disabled.
  • In-game time is now displayed in the bottom-right corner, above the Minimap.
  • Your Builder now shows up as a blip on the Minimap.
  • When you return to the Main Menu, you now return to the last location you were at instead of the Title Screen.
  • When you beat Wave 55, you receive a congratulatory message.
  • If you're playing by yourself in an online game, it will no longer tell you "Victory!" if you die before Wave 55.
  • Missions have been renamed to Challenges.
  • You are no longer locked to playing Challenges in order.
  • Extreme Mode tweaked:
    -- You can no longer random Interest Upgrades in Extreme Mode.
    -- When a creep leaks, it no longer freezes the Interest Timer.
    -- You now get the Element Pick when the respective wave finishes spawning, not when you kill it.
  • All Maps now list a short description.
  • Applied a new icon for the Tower Table.
  • Fixed a visual discrepancy where selecting your Elements could sometimes cause the element icons in your HUD to be darker than intended.


[h2]Balance[/h2]
  • Cursed creeps effect AoE increased from 200 to 350
    -- This effectively causes it to hit all towers up to 2 spaces away
    -- Effect amount decreased from 15% to 10% per stack
    -- Effect duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds
  • Earth ability starting AoE increased from 50 to 100
    -- Fixed Reset time not being 3 seconds
  • Arcane damage reduced from 720 / 2880 / 11520 to 700 / 2800 / 11200
  • Vapor damage reduced from 160 / 640 / 2560 to 150 / 600 / 2400
    -- Bonus damage per creep hit increased from 14% to 15%
  • Geyser AoE reduced from 100 to 0
    -- Bonus damage per creep within its 200 search AoE increased from 120 / 480 / 1920 to 360 / 1440 / 5760
  • Poison damage-per-second reduced from 90 / 360 / 1440 to 80 / 320 / 1280
    -- Duration increased from 8 to 10 seconds
  • Solar attack speed decreased from 1.5 to 1
    -- Damage & damage-per-second increased from 65 / 260 / 1040 to 75 / 300 / 1200
    -- Primary attack AoE increased from 0 to 100
    -- Effect altered from "Primary target receives a stacking debuff" to "Targets hit receive a stacking debuff"
  • Mushrooom attack speed increased from 1.5 to 3
    -- Damage reduced from 240 / 960 / 3840 to 150 / 600 / 2400
    -- Effect altered from "This tower deals 1% additional damage for every 1% of HP the target has" to "This tower deals up to 50% more damage against max health enemies and down to 50% less damage against low health enemies".
    -- Its maximum DPS is about the same as before, but it doesn't deal as much damage to lower health creeps early on, preventing it from steamrolling the early-game with minimal effort
  • Impulse damage reduced from 3800 / 15200 to 3600 / 14400
  • Flooding bonus AoE per attack increased from 18 to 20
  • Nova damage increased from 400 / 1600 to 450 / 1800
  • Windstorm damage-per-second increased from 450 / 1800 to 500 / 2000
  • All Tier 1 Slows reduced from 12% to 10%
